Is Lovedust lipstick going to be discontinued? There's a triangle next to it on MAC's website.

I heard some chit-chat that Lovedust is being cycled off the shelves then reformulated as a Satin. The combo of matte + shimmer means it's a total pig of a lipstick to apply, but it looks gorgeous. I hope the rumour is true, as I really like that lipstick.

It's so matte and dry that it's hard to apply but the result is pretty. I don't think I need more than one tube though

I use the clear lipstick underneath to give it some slip, but an untinted lip balm/lip conditioner works great as well. It applies well once you give it something with slip' underneath. I also scrape off as much lipstick as I need right as I'm starting a make-up and leave it to warm in the sun for twenty minutes - by the time I get to the bride's lips, the lipstick has softened up enough to apply with a brush.
