MAC Brushes

I have a question about the Mac make up brushes. I have the 213se, the 187, and the 223. I can see why everyone raves about the brushes. They are sooo soft and work a lot better. Anyway when my husband bought me the 187 for Xmas they told him that it should be washed once a month. However when I bought the 223 she said to wash the brushes once a week. Which is right

I wash all my brushes once a week. I like to start the week off with clean brushes!

For a make-up civilian, generally once a week with brush cleaner and once a month with baby shampoo is enough to keep your brushes nice and fresh.

MAC brush cleaner works fine (1/4 parts cleanser and the other parts lukewarm water), or the one by cinema secrets is good too

MAC brush cleanser is fine. It's already diluted, so it doesn't need to be mixed down any further.

I wash mine every week. I also sometimes spray my brushes with cleaner between uses. HTH
