MAC Lipstick, lipglass, etc taste

Does anyone else taste some kind of vanilla-y chocolate taste to them or am I just strange?

I think they all smell vanilla-y-ish. It's a good sign since it usually means they haven't gone bad.

No taste for me, only the sweet vanilla smell, which I love btw.

Never noticed a taste to them, but I definitely agree with the vanilla smell. It reminds me of cake. yum.

The "taste" or "smell" is from the vanillin added to most, if not all, MAC lip products. I think it says either inside the box, in the little safety slip...somewhere on there!

Yes they have a vanilla smell to me...and a kind of vanilla taste as well.

I like the vanilla smell. I love that you can use it as an indicator of how fresh the product is.
