Oh holy cow - I remeber those. I got some and they made me break out so they sat in my old makeup bin. Wonder what ever happened to them. Huh.

The Potions were MAC's first fragrances. They're like little vials of perfume, which you can store in a case or wear in a necklace that holds one vial. They were all fairly strong scents, mostly leaning toward notes like patchouli and sandalwood. Not the vanilla and floral stuff we're used to today!

The three scents are Asphalt Flower, Hypersouk, and Synthetic Nirvana. I think they came out before MAC was doing a lot of big releases for everything... like 1999ish? Back then, a lot of things slipped into the line-up without postcards and events and big hurrahs!
