Ahhh so THAT's why my Flashmode cap split, which I just noticed last week. It's a pretty old one, and I thought I must have crushed it somehow, but it's never happened to any of my other lids, Lip-or Lustre-glass.
Also, just fyi, once I tried switching the lids between a lipglass and lustreglass and found they fit slightly differently, the wand thicknesses are different, so I had an issue plonking the lipglass wand into the lustreglass tube.
