I finally finished my new vanity today, and I am SO happy. It may not be big, but it's mine and I love it. So here it is. I have used the following:

"Leksvik" black desk
"Helmer" white drawers
"Kolja" mirror
2 "Musik" lamps, one on each side of the mirror

And the stool is from Kartell. It's called La Boheme, and is both a stool and a small side table.

And you won't get pictures of the inside of my drawers yet. I still have some organizing to do

It is very cute! I can't wait to see what's in the drawers when you're done with it!

It's a plain "Kolja" mirror from IKEA with 2 "Musik" lamps, one on each side.

No problem at all. You start by hanging the mirror on the wall, and then you hang the lamps right next to it. They're completely seperate products, I have just hung them right next to eachother.

I have

one for lipglasses with the inlay of Helmer.

One with the inlay for lipsticks, paint pots and pigment samples.

One for my nailpolishes.

One for my blushes and my eyeshadow quads and palettes.

One for my powders, MSFs and Beauty powders.

And one with the inlay for random stuff like false lashes, mascaras, ....

I store my brushes and pencils seperately.

HTH!!

How do you like the lighting that you get from the lights? Is it enough for makeup application or do you feel like you still need a closer table top mirror? I am thinking of getting those lights but not sure if it would be adequate for what i need. T

The lights are excellent in my oppinion. The best light I ever had.

But I think I still need a closer table. Simply because when I apply eyeliner, I like to get really close. So it's more a question of distance, not the lights.

The lights are really bright! Get the least bright lightbulbs you can.
