Nars Spring 2012

There are already pieces of information about the spring 2012 collection, thanks to the Nars official page on Facebook.

A few of the products to expect for spring 2012:

- Lhasa Single Eyeshadow. For now, try the smoky lilac side of Egea Duo Eyeshadow. / For now, try Ondine Single Eyeshadow.
- Douce France Trio Eyeshadow. For now, try Goddess Soft Touch Shadow Pencil and Nymphea Single Eyeshadow.
- Dark Rite Soft Touch Shadow Pencil. For a similar effect try Rue Saint-Honoré Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner.

- Bilbao Lipstick. For a similar effect try Pago Pago Lipstick.
- Valparaiso Pure Matte Lipstick. For now, try Terre de Feu Pure Matte Lipstick.
- Mexican Rose Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil. For a similar effect try a light application of Place Vendôme Larger Than Life Lip Gloss.

- Gaiety blush. For a similar effect try Desire Blush.

- Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizers. Finally!

I would be soooo interested in a tinted moisturizer from NARS. Their foundation is the only one I've found that matches me EXACTLY. Hopefully I will be able to get a similar match with a tinted moisturizer. Since I prefer wearing that to actual foundation.

It has been a year! Initial release date was spring 2011, but they were pushed back to spring 2012. I can't wait either! I only wish they'll make as many shades as the foundations.


I was browsing the web, and found something interesting... The tinted moisturizers will have SPF20 / PA+++. And they'll look like this (way bigger image at the source).

Yeh, she does look pretty pissed. maybe someone gave her two carrots instead of one for lunch


I don't care for the sheer matte. I'm still shopping around for that hg foundation, for now using MUFE HD. I was hoping to try Chanels' mat but I read on that thread they are discontinuing it so no point in trying it.
