OPI Gels?

I just read that these made allures top beauty finds of 09. Kinda like an acrylic or gel nail, but in OPI's colors, lasts weeks and weeks. Anyone have success with these, pics, etc? You can buy the kit... but I'm not sure I'd do a good job... I wonder when we will get em here...

I saw these in Allure too! I think that they only JUST came out; so it may be awhile. Apparently you can only get them at salons? I didn't see them on OPI's website yet.

Ooo, so do these not require filing the nails? I had gels, but all the filing made my nails really thin. But I do miss having nice looking nails all the time, so I am very curious about this!

Trans design has the stuff. It seems like a neat idea - if I were to get my nails done I'd certainly consider it. But buying my own UV-light seems a bit too much to me. Now, if they could invent something like this that doesn't require a $250 investment to start, but rather comes for the price of a few bottles of polish, I'd be all over it.
