Prom Problems

so, This year is the year of my junior prom.
ahh, I have no idea what to do!
I don't really know where to look for a dress.
i don't want to spend to much, but I might end up doing so.
I also think I want to wear a short dress, would doing so be appropriate?
I'm 5', long dresses just DON'T work for me. at alllll.

anybody know of any good websites or stores?
I'd rather listen to you guys than look at one of those silly prom 08 sites!

if you do spend alot definitely check out betsey johnson. She does the PERFECT short dresses and they're super cute. I think short dresses are fine as long as they aren't too short, but if they're like knee length i think that's fine.

I can't think of any sites off the top of my head right now though sorry but whenI do I will post!

promgirl.com is the site I bought mine from if I'm not mistaken. I got this GORGEOUS blue dress, and I thought I'd have to get it altered because I have really big boobs but it fit like a freaking glove. $99 dollars!
