Retro/pin-up look: which blush?

I really like the retro/pin-up look with black eyeliner and bold red lips, but I haven't been able to figure out which shade of blush goes with this look. Any suggestions?
(I tried searching but I couldn't find anything, this may be because I am not so good at doing searches.)

Whenever i do a pin up look i use pink swoon

I always use MAC Well Dressed powder blush when I do a retro/pin-up look.

I like to use a soft matte pink with looks like this.

For pin-up looks, I really like Mac's Blushbaby or Nars Madly.

Whenever i do this look i concentrate on contouring, not so much blush. I normally use emote to contour and just a touch of pink swoon on the apples of my cheeks

Maybe no blush at all would be the best - let the lips do the talking

I actually really like this look with a touch of bright baby pink blush--ie. MAC Dollymix or my favorite NARS Angelika.

I mostly use a pink blush, but sometimes i use a peachy blush too.
