Returning without the box?

I just recently bought mac foundation and I'm really not happy with it, I think it's too light on me. I was wondering if I can get an exchange without the box? I have the receipt but I don't think it'll do me any good without the box.

I returned Studio Fix to a counter without a box....but it was at Nordstrom. I don't think you'll have a problem elsewhere, though. Maybe someone else can give you a definite answer.

You should be okay if you have the receipt, which shows you didn't steal it or anything. And especially if you're going to make an exchange.

i've exchanged a product without box or receipt... it shouldn't be a problem..

you should be fine if you have the receipt. if you don't, you will definitely need the box because the return sticker is on it and they need that if you don't have a receipt.
