Does anyone have a fav product that they use for break-through oil/shine? I have used MAC blot powder on my brides, but if they take photos outside it doesnt seem to last too long. Any secret weapons to combat break-through shine?

I totally, 100% recommend Boscia blotting linens. You get more for the $$ than MAC's blot film too, btw
And truly, in a pinch, plain paper towel or TP--know this from experience. But it's not so pretty for a bride huh? <=LOL

Make Up For Ever mat velvet+ is amazing. I have pretty oily skin and it keeps me matte for 8 hours and then I can look a bit dewy for a few more hours before I have to blot and do a powder touch up with CoverFX matte fx. I use paper towel and I haven't tried anything that's been better than these things.

here's what I do when I go out dancing, otherwise it's shine-city...
1) Matte foundation on T-zone. Currently, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra, which works pretty well.
2) Blot papers! Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets are pretty good. Toilet seat liners work in a pinch. I do this a minute or two after foundation, but before powder, especially if I've sheered it out with moisturizer.
3) After blotting, dust with translucent powder. Cinema Secrets Translucent Powder works amazingly well actually. I picked some up last Halloween to set weird-colored face paint (pretty cheap iirc). It's really finely milled, too, which is nice.
4) keep blotting as needed.

hth!
