I'm wondering if we can have a post/thread under the FAQ's (or maybe Buy & Sell?) section which lists general shipping costs for the countries/areas between which most shipping happens. Mainly I'd like to see information about duties, fees and taxes, as I just got involved in a situation where there is misunderstanding of whether an item from anywhere to Canada is to be < $20 or < $60 to be tax exempt. My understanding is the latter, especially since recently items shipped to me were marked for their full retail value (> $20, which was not what I paid) and I got charged by customs.
I'm hoping if we have a post/thread about this, it will avoid future unfortunate charges for everyone. It will also help others realize that it really is that expensive to ship from certain countries! :crap:
