Shoes Help

for a black dress would u wear silver shoes or black shoes?
and
would it look weird to wear summer type heels since it is winter?

depends on the dress:
- busy dress, like with lots of beading or ruffles = more inclined for black shoes
- simple dress, like a understated sheath dress = more inclined for silver
try to strike a balance for how much you have going on

summer shoes? like sandals or espadrilles? yeah, little weird. but open-toed aren't necessarily bad...

With a plain black dress, I think you could get away with any color...as long as its suitable for the occasion. I personally would never wear silver shoes.

Summer type shoes arent necc. a bad thing either...just depends on how fancy you're getting.

with a black dress, i'd wear RED shoes (a la natalie portman)! haha.. but between silver and black, i'd wear black shoes =)

It really depends on the dress and your accessories. As for the strappy, summer, open-toe shoes I think that it's fine. I used to wear open toe shoes 365 days a year.

Hmm depends on the actual dress but either black or silver could work...open strappy shoes are acceptable all year round in my book.
