I'm the other way around, I can't apply makeup standing. I've tried it at my boyfriend's--I find it so uncomfortable and I'm not as good with a brush standing up

--and ended up having to create a makeshift set up in the living room that I set up/take down as needed where I do my makeup when I'm at his place.

I don't think I have ever done my mu sitting down either.

I keep wire cutters in with my brushes for depotting

I can't put my makeup on without listening to music, dunno why, guess it just gets me in the make up mood. Plus i never do my make up in a big mirror i have to do it while holding a hand mirror, right now my mirror of choice is the one in my shy beauty bp compact lol. I even do my fluildline while holding a hand mirror, i'm getting pretty good at it lol.
