soft/emollient drugstore Liner

Hi all. I want to get better at making a 'cut' crease and need some new liners to practice with.

I don't want to buy high end liners for this because the whole technique is new to me and I don't want to waste it. For a while I was using Wet N Wild + NYC liners but they're pretty dry and hard to blend out, which is important when doing that type of look.

Can anyone recommend a soft/emollient liner? I was thinking perhaps NYX or Prestige...but I don't own too many pencil liners and therefore don't know what's good for a lower end brand.

Any suggestions are appreciated! Thx!

I think the most emollient drugstore eyeliners I've tried are the Covergirl Perfect Point Plus eyeliners. They even come with smudger tips to help you blend them! They are very creamy and soft.

Try the Almay liners. They're the twist up kind and they're super creamy. I love the black and the purple one!

Rimmel has a kohl pencil that's really soft and smudgy. I think it's called Soft Kohl or something like that.
