Travel Makeup Bag

I dont know if this belong in this forum but I thought i'd try.

I am traveling to VA in a week and a half for my God son's 2nd birthday, I will be staying there for 3 to 4 days. I was wondering what you guys reccomended I take with me as far as skin care and makeup. I am for sure taking my UD Naked Palette, that's not staying behind. I have a tendency to overpack sometimes. I think I have some general idea but some opinions are always good.

Also, how to carry my brushes? and ideas on cute bags?

I take one medium sized bag for skincare and one medium size bag for my makeup (Sephora has cute bags)

my skincare bag just has the basics (I hate packing and I pack as little as possible, just the bare minimum): face wash, moisturizer, makeup remover wipes, contact solution, contact case, toothbrush, deodorant

Makeup bag: I just take basics like foundation, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow (a light, medium, & dark color. a palette is a good idea), eyebrow pencil, mascara, eyelash curler, brushes. I just stick my brushes into the bag but there are lots of cute makeup brush bags out there
