Hi!
thanks!
I'm gonna try this....the lady who sold me my iron did it to my hair & it was so nice I had to buy *that* (freaking expensive) iron, but could never get it quite right at home.

i do the same thing! i don't even own a curling iron. they don't get hot enough. i have a CHI flatiron and it's the best multipurpose tool.

it did this:

i have very thick hair and I was able to get that style in less than 45 minutes around my entire head.

Woww, thanks so much! I'm so glad I have a thin straightener now, although I'm cheap since my hair doesn't straighten well with anything, so all I have is a $22 Remington Wet-2-Straight that probably doesn't go any higher than 200 degrees on the highest setting, but I think my hair's too short to curl anyways...
Anyway, this will definitely be useful someday!

wow just signed up to say this is the best thing ever!

i always tried on my own and curled the iron too much, making crimps in my hair and no curl.

tried and it worked perfectly

thanks so much for the insight

Grrr... I tried this and the curls stayed in for 10 min and then went straight... and my hair's curly, naturally! Should I use hairspray?

So cool! There's this booth in the mall for hair straighteners that advertisers its use as a curling iron, too. Now I know how! hehe
