I love the second look!
If you don't like the way the highlight looks in these, maybe try more neutral or subtle shades to let the lid colors stand out on their own. Some shades I like for bright looks are Shroom, Retrospeck, Digit (not exactly neutral, but the finish shows up fairly matte on me. It would probably work well with the first look), Naked Lunch, Spring Up, White Wheat, Brule.
