What colors for warm tone and cool tone skin?

I was wondering what colors suit what skin types best. Like if someone has olive/warm skin what eyeshadow and lips look good? How about a ruddy/cool skin tone?

Also what colors look best on different eyecolors? What would complement them?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks for posting this, because it's a topic that confuses me as well! I guess I'm a cool (maybe neutral) but I also have yellow undertones on my face, as well as pink! I've been told my neck has more pink undertones but my face has some yellow. The blue or green vein trick doesn't work for me because my veins look perfectly in between to me most of the time!

There's no hard and fast rule when it comes to this. I'm neutral-warm, but some supposedly "warm" shades look terrible on me. Anything with an orange tint to it looks gawd-awful on me. I think it comes down to experimenting to find out what looks good on you and what doesn't.
