Will there be any foundations left? Foundations being DCd in Sep/Oct 08

I just checked the .com site and all these foundations are TOD'ed:

studio stick NC32, NC43, NW23, NW47
full coverage : bye bye all of them
select spf : NC55
select tint : bye bye all of them

studio mist : bye bye all of them

hyper real : bye bye all of them


Does anyone know what is going on?
Does anyone know what will replace them?
Is it just to make room for the new Mineralize display?

I have no idea but I'd think it'd be sensible to have something replace at least for a light coverage liquid foundation. That's not even an option if they don't replace it. Maybe they're getting rid of full coverage because the concealer is the same thing anyway.

Will the NW100 shade be available at pro stores? They never had that at my counter for as long as I've been going.. which hasn't been that long, but us pale chicks get no love in the foundation department.

Luckily I found one at the CCO and scooped it up, but when I run out I'll have to make some other arrangements.

nw100 was dc'd long ago. the only shades that will be at pro stores are the ones listed on the regular website.

But Full Coverage is so awesome! (BOOO!) I said this elsewhere..I just felt like venting again.

Of course, they're getting WAY more money charging for a little pot of concealer than a whole foundation. :S

I'm not that great with understanding the differences between pro and normal.

I wish they would just have Face & Body at counters if they are getting rid of the other sheerer foundations. I want to try it really bad.

I am sure they are just paving the way for new ones (as far as the DCs). *I hope* .As far as cutting the shades, that just bugs me. It just makes it harder to get an exact match. Your average consumer isn't going to buy two shades, then mix them for their fave shade.

That being said, some of the new introductions (whether MAC classifies them as foundations or powders) like Mineralize Natural and Mineral Loose, completely lack a decent colour range. The Mineral Loose packaging is horrid.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Full coverage discontinued???!!! I love it!!! It covers my melasma soooooooooo well!!!

^ well I just saw on the website that it'll be offerred at MAC Pro only so that's ok.

They added that same note to the Hyper Real as well....pheewwwww....

. All shades of Full Coverage and Hyper Real will now be pro.

It's a shame about Select Tint, it was probably the only MAC Foundation that didn't oxidize on me or made me break out. Maybe they'll be launching new formulas. Let's hope so.

Mac Full Coverage Foundation

i dunno if there is a thread about this yet ... but anyways
i went on the mac website to just check out a few things and
i saw that mac full coverage foundations are going to be
d/c and only sold at Mac Pro !!! thats crazy cause
the nearest mac pro is like 1 hour away im sooo upset
does any know the reason for this

If I'm an NC40-42 in Studio Fix Fluid what color will I be in the full coverage? Will C40 be a good match or is that too light?

boo - my favorite foundation

say goodbye to hyperreal foundtion - it's now only to be carried at the pro stores - argh! i love this stuff!!!
