Well, I ended up buying the $110 bundle even though I told myself I wasn’t going to buy all the makeup. I got sucked into the hype as usual. I liked the idea of the tote but just couldn’t rationalize spending another $25 for it and the little toy. I’m excited for the palette and highlighters to arrive, though.

I have the 2 little pony palette for me and my niece I think she would like it for xmas she is 13 and doing some figure skating so they need makeup right???

Either the turn out is not as big as expected or they made plenty of stock because none of the MLP is sold out and it’s now 2.5 hours after release. Guess I’m just used to the chaos of Kylie Cosmetics releases.

I have zero use for another lilac/lavender highlight but I went ahead and grabbed Trickles anyway, along with pin wheel

I've been meaning to post that I was good and resisted the launch. But I just checked the site and there are still quite a few things available. I'm surprised. So I we'll see what happens. mollyv6 glad you go your bundle. It looks like a fun collection.

I wanted to wear one of the pink SS shadows I hadn't used yet so I went with Kelp Me. It turns out it was a bit more coral looking in the pan than I realized but still quite pretty & pink on the eye. It made for a nice pop of color. I still want the 2 fall quads and some powder blushes. Has anyone bought any of the new blushes yet?

Thanks! I’m excited although I had talked myself down to much less but then got caught up in the hype. I really thought they would’ve sold out of more. Guess not that many liked the packaging and/or colors. I ended up giving my extra 5 million freebies to a cashier at my local Rubio’s and she was so thankful. I’m probably going to gift her the lippies from MLP that I don’t want as I’m not a dark or bright lip person.

I bought 6 of the new blushes and will post swatches tomorrow. I bought all of the lighter and warmer colors - To the 10, Parakeet, RomCom, Barre Hopping, Weirdough and Why Hello. I’ve worn two so far and they are definitely a buildable blush. They apply very natural but are easily built up for more intensity. Staying power is pretty good, too, as I still have noticeable color after 11 hours. I feel as though they blend really well although I’ve only used my Hakuhodo brush to apply and that makes anything look good. All in all, they are worth $7 and are the same size as the powder highlighters so they fit nicely in the large palette.

Barre Hopping and Weirdough photograph more brown than they appear on my skin. You’ll also notice powderiness in the swatches because I did pack them on to get more intensity. These are not in your face color unless built up which some will love and others not so much.

Tried out my MLP palette today and LOVE the look I did!!! I used Butterscotch, Minty, Skydancer, and Twilight as a liner. Looked amazing, easy to blend and apply, and wore well. Very happy with this palette so far!

That is great. It is so nice to find someone to give makeup to who will appreciate it.

Thanks for the swatches and info on the blushes. I had Parakeet on my list. I don't know that people didn't like the palette. They may be like me and just need to be selective with all the holiday releases coming. Money is just flying out of my pocket. I saw some palette swatches yesterday on a WOC that had me wavering again. I am starting to wonder what CP has in store for holiday.

Me, too! I wore it to work on Friday and love it! I copied the look Temptalia has in her review of the palette and it turned out really nice. I even wore Ponyland gloss with it and that was really pretty, too. I’m not bold enough to wear Lemon Drop UML just yet but I did try it. Pretty but it stains!

Oh, I know! I’m already planning for the Sephora release on 10/31. I’m sure I’ll want it all unless it’s matte liquid lipsticks.

Wow, everything is still in stock from the MLP collab (except for the super shock shadows). Guess it didn't turn out to be as popular as CP expected it to be.

I’m thinking the same thing. I remember feeling anxious when I ordered as I didn’t think there would be enough stock. Turns out I could order now and still get what I originally wanted.

Oh I forgot all about the Sephora Collection. The 31st huh? That is soon.
I wish they’d post some sneak peeks. I saw on Sephora’s BT that there’ll be 8 different products including eyeshadow and highlighter palettes, lip gloss sets and single eyeshadows. I hope pictures are posted this week.

Another new palette called Element of Surprise launching this Thursday on colourpop.com. There will be 8 items in total for this launch. This is in addition to the Sephora launch on 10/31. Please grant me restraint!
