I want to make that look now!

Any ideas on how to dupe Caviar Dreams?

Anybody? I want to recreate that quad NOW!

Maybe you could start with Sumptuous Olive for example? I know it's not the same, but atleast it's in the same colour family.

Or Greensmoke with a light hand and maybe mixed in with some taupe? Like omega?

I love Resort Life! It's my first and only Lip Gelee` If these are like that one, I'm gonna want to get a couple.

I saw a girl today who had on a pale khaki + pastel smokey eye, like she was channeling the quad. I almost asked her what she had on, but she looked busy at the time so I just left it.

She had fair skin and short, henna red hair with an off-white, destroyed-look old fashioned dress and it was a great look on her!

is it possible that one of the lighter paint pots in this coll would lighten my darker shadows/pigments? Even better just bring out the color in them? For example I have deep blue green pigment and even wet you can barely see the blue-green and that part of the reason I got it!

sadly, no. using a light base will only give you the truest colour that the shadow can have. using a darker base, or using the product wet, will darken it.

to lighten your darker shadows, apply your base, then apply a lighter or skin-tone matching shadow first. then apply the darker colour on top. applying a powder over another powder sheers out the top colour, and even lightens it up since its not touching the base and being intensified. you can also mix white pigment (for shimmery pigments) or pure white (for matte pigments) to lighten the colours a bit.

I'm so allergic to lavender that I'll have to approach the MAC counter with caution to check out those paint pots. I'm willing to brave it for paint pots though.

I wish they weren't all frosts but there are different levels of frost so I'm still optimistic and the colours sound nice. I'm definitely feeling the pale metalic theme these days. It's showing up first in my nail polish purchases. Nail polish usually seems to be where I try a colour trend first.

I wonder how Sin-Tillation compares to Resort Life. I know I don't need both. Icy cool pink shimmer makes me go

I recently started using a lipgelee that I haven't used for ages, and I really like the texture. It's called "moonstone" from the perm line I think ,but it's not super sparkly like resort life or anything. I didn't get resort life, because I didn't want moonstone going back to the unused bin.

I like the new extra sparkly lipgelees, but the older less blingy version was great too. My absolute favorite is Slicked Pink! I have a few tubes left, but I'll really miss it when those are gone.

I have Slicked Pink from the permanent line, but otherwise I have had no urge to get more. These new lip gelees seem too frosty for my taste.

I've had a few, but I was never too impressed. My favorite was Saplicious, but it's not like I ever used it too much. I ended up B2Ming the four I had because they started to lose that vanilla smell and just plain weren't worth it anymore.

Easy skip for me!
