I'm sure the packing will be exciting enough to warrant higher prices.

Packaging doesn't matter to me unless it holds a significantly larger amount of product. That BP will have to be the size of my head (which it won't) and the glosses the size of the Wonder Woman line.

Or maybe if they're lined with rubies and give me superpowers.

Do you guys think Strada would work well as a subtle contour blush? I normally use hoola but its slightly darker for me!

Im thinking about the lippies..... WISHLIST FOR UPCOMING COLLECTIONS
restrick ls? fervent ls? they both sound cool I wonder how fervent is different from prince noir... and im intrigued byt a "grey nude"!

I'm going to cough up the dough for the colors. Greyed out lips with purple opalescence is a look that works like a killer robot on me. It'll be a complete 90's time machine for this particular 'ole gal.

Restrict + Vacant + those lashes + a half moon manicure of Ascension/Hyper with my incredible geometric boots and some leather pants:

HELLZ YEAH.

I was totally going to sit this collection out but given the new information I just can't. If the color descriptions are even close to accurate, this may be my favorite MAC collection of the year. I am already greatly reducing my wish list for other collections including G&I to make room for this one.

The only two things that interest me are Fervent l/s and Square handled buffer. But I think I will end up passing on this collection though.

Absolutely - I hate paying extra for fancy packaging. It's the contents I'm interested in anyway

It is my perfect soft contour!! I still have most of one (I stocked up when I heard it was being discontinued), but I'll definitely be buying a backup!

I'm an NC15 and I use Wedge eyeshadow to contour, which works very well, especially when paired with a highlighter.

As it is the couture collection, well at least it was the couture collection, I'm happy to pay more to get some design-orientated MU products. I understand that not everybody wants to pay twice the price for a compact, but at least there are enough other collections around for those who still want to spend money. At least for me, the higher price tag means that the product won't sell out within minutes.

I know that the Marcel Wanders stuff hung around forever and I loved what I got from that collection. (Although, I have to say, that was the first couture collection that really grabbed me.) I appreciate special packaging if it's well done (which I thought MW was) and, if this collection looks good, I won't have a problem forking over more money. After all, it's still cheaper than Guerlain...

How would you say Strada compares to Equilibrium? It seems a little lighter and more nude/less brown from swatches.

liba,

strada is a more nude/brownish/with some rose combo.. very useful and very pretty when used as a contour product.

if MAC changes products/packaging around one more time I will tear something down in my office.. ha.

Only interested in seeing the buffer brush, but for $60, I won't buy. Wonder if it's gonna be the 182 with a square handle like the Couture Collection buffer brush -- which I have 2 of.
