The funny thing is, at least at my store, the quantities they got in weren't unusually low. They had about 10-15 of each of them, which is pretty par for the course with the smaller collections. It's just that people were snapping them up in a stampede. It's always interesting when a makeup style suddenly breaks free from the fear factor in the general public. There were lots of teenage girls roaming around at my store buying Pink Pigeon (which was the one that sold out first) and debating over Scarlet Ibis or Party Parrot. It looked like they were all there getting a thrill out of breaking the lipstick taboos they started out their makeup lives with, plus all their moms were encouraging them, remembering when they wore all these colors the last time they were popular. It was kind of heart warming, to tell the truth.Went by the Pro store yesterday and they're sold out of every single lipstick already. They're not even sure if any of the other locations have any left!I mean, I understand making limited stock, but that's just silly. Anyway, I figure that if I miss out, I miss out. I'm done making myself crazy to get items unless I'm 100% sure they're unique in my collection.

The pro store in L.A. for sure doesn't get the volume some of the other stores get. Not surprising, since it's a storefront in a really busy area with horrible parking, rather than in a convenient mall with other shops and lots of parking. You have to want to go there, on a mission for body paint or whatever, to brave the trek.

Hahaha, so true, so true! I had a good laugh at your friend not getting enough neon fix out of your Party Parrot, especially in church!
I picked up my P.P. yesterdday (Friday... I had my fave MUA place one on hold for me Wednesday when I went in person). I whipped it out hours later with "Embrace Me" l/p from the Daphene collection. I love it!!!!
