IMO, the best ones are still the sculpt and shape powders. "Sculpt" might be the best shade for you (maybe Bone Beige during the winter). I like to add some "Shadowy" for a more dramatic look in the evening. If you don't want to order from the Pro store, you might want to try Harmony, though it can be a touch too pink on NC skin.
 
Re highlighter: it really depends what blush you use. I use different highlighters for different blushes. Today I use "Soft Focus" (from the shape powder) mixed with Elude as highlighter, Immortal Flower as a blush, and a mix of Shadester mixed with Bone Beige (from the sculpt powders). To add some warmth, I use Gold-Go-Lightlightly Careblend topped with Flower Fantasy Pearlmatte for sheen. It's a lovely, very natural combination - and perfect for this sunny day on the East Coast.

That does indeed sound like a lovely combination and it's so nice to get some product recommendations, I have no MAC store nearby so I order from mac directly for nearly all my products which is fine but it means I also miss out on a lot of mac tips and advice. I haven't ever looked at the sculpt and shape powders so will definitely give them a try. With highlight do you pair colours, so a more pink highlight tone with a pinker blush? Still on hold :shock:

My order just arrived. I ordered 2 lipsticks and 4 of the new blushes in this order.... The two lipsticks have arrived but I haven't been sent ANY of the blushes I ordered despite them still being in stock in the UK. On hold to mac now....I'm so not happy right now!!!!

Myself and charlotte366 also ordered blushes from MAC UK and haven't received them yet. I ordered mine as soon as they appeared on the site under 'powder blushes' and they are still showing as available so I don't know what the hold up is.

My later order arrived this morning, but that didn't contain any blushes

According to MAC 'that's really unusual as we have stock of the items you ordered, we'll have to contact the warehouse and get back to you ... ' I'm just waiting for a call back. Have you spoke to mac yet Rockin?

No, I've not spoken to them yet. I had been hoping that they would send that order with the other, and that it was just a case of them not having told the system it had been done, hence no email etc.

That's still probably the case I'm sure. Just find it really odd with my order as everything was listed as being sent on the dispatch email but when I got the parcel, the parcel slip just listed the other items and not one blush.

I've just spoken to the guy at customer services, and he can't see why they haven't been sent, as it appears they are in stock. I told him I'd ordered as soon as they appeared on the site, so should definitely not have been sold out by then anyway. He is going to check with the warehouse and phone me back.

Postage is so expensive these days, isn't it? We in the UK are facing a huge rise in postage costs at the end of this month - first class letters, for example, are going up from 46p to 60p!

What!?!?! That is ridiculous! I know it is only pennies but it adds up. Oh gosh, I sound like an old woman now...

Anyway, I hope your and MrsB's orders get sorted out. I am going to be so peed off if mine is messed up when it arrives. I ordered from Debenhams but ordered two blushes from MAC later on because Debenhams had sold out of one of them.

heading to mac counter tonight...hopefully they still have IF ...have any of you gals called up mac counter and asked to have an item put on hold? and did they do it? im going to call in an hour when they open.. i know some do hold and some dont....my luck ill fall under the category of dont...but yea....having MAJOR regrets not buying IF..its driving me mad

i loveeeee mocha...such a pretty and easy every day blush....i dont know if you have gingery...but thats also a pretty blush and works as a contour as well..its like a 2 in oner...melba is gorgeous as well...ahhh the choices...but for an everyday blush i do love mocha..

question! I am going to take advantage of the 2 day ship code FILM, and order a new blush pro palette. I only have five blushes to depot, and my OCD will not be happy with one empty hole in my palette. Help me choose one more blush to add to my palette, permanent included. (perm blushes I already have are: Fleur Power, Springsheen, Breezy, Dollymix. All my other mac blushes are mineralized which I dont depot. For reference I am NC20 but very neutral. My picture is in my icon.

My current blushes for my 6 pan palette..

Pink Cult, Lovecloud, Full of Joy, Modern Mandarin, Immortal Flower

I was thinking of adding either, Melba, Blushbaby, Mocha, or Pink Tea. Also up for other suggestions! (Peony Petal is out because I already have Nars Gaiety and its too similar) What do you guys think?

What a faff! My four blushes are not coming from MAC! Apparently they were 'out of stock' when I ordered - WTF?! Umm, no they weren't because I ordered when they were up under blushes section before the advert even hit the front page. But instead of contacting me, they've replaced the order but aren't sure when or if I'll actually receive anything as it will be fulfilled in the order they were placed. Since the re-order was only raised this morning (after my irate phone call maybe), it will be last in order queue so to speak. Yep, and 2nd class is going up to 50p. Stock up on books of stamps now, as they will still be valid come the increase. Make sure they are ones with 1st or 2nd on them, though, rather than an amount. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17522500

I ordered one blush from Debenhams, too, along with my Extra Dimension eye shadows, but the other blushes I wanted were out of stock so I ordered them from MAC.

Right, after a billion phone calls my refund will go through. I've re-ordered all the blushes from Selfridges who are still offering Saturday delivery. I could totally scream, it has been such a stressful day and it's barely 3pm

I'm sure you'll be okay. They did give me the option of waiting to see if the re-order arrived but they said it wouldn't be till next Thurs/Friday with the bank holidays and I just didn't want to wait that long in case I didn't get all four and everywhere else was out of stock. I know it's only blushes but I'm desperate to try them. At least this way my refund from mac will arrive when it arrives but I know I'll get all the blushes I want from Selfridges. If I went with the reorder from mac there was no g'tee what I'd receive or when

I wonder if we expressed how annoying the low stock supplies were for these collections would it result in more products? Would MAC even care? I mean more sales for them in the long run. It is really ridiculous how quickly the last few collections have gone OOS so quickly on the lippies & then all the blushes from TC. Whoever is calling the numbers has been off quite a bit or maybe in league with the scalpers on e-bay. Its scandalous.

I can't imagine that they've sold out as soon as the blushes started appearing on the site, especially since they're still showing as available. I think they've made a cock-up somewhere along the line, and just don't want to admit it.

Rockin, I think you are definitely right as when I queried it, they said 'oh they were only out of stock for an hour...' Doesn't add up to me but I'm in that much pain with a poorly tooth I can't be bothered to argue, just wanted to re-order else where. So that I knew I would get my items and get them in a timely manner

MAC are awful with their customer service at times. They should be bending over backwards to fix the problem that they have caused.

Do you think my blushes will turn up then? I ordered them yesterday from MAC... they're still in stock - pink tea and peony pink.
