What part of Miami were you ladies in? What did you do/see?
I believe it was considered "downtown". I was mostly in South Beach, I think. I went to mostly touristy spots and clubs lol! I also went to the beach, for the first time in years! The water in Miami is so freak'n beautiful! So much nicer than the water in Cali. It's actually kind of warm! In Cali, our water is hella cold :(

Blue Orbit is a little too intense for me over the whole lid, at my age (47) so I use it kind of as a liner on the top lid and on the outer third of the bottom one. On the lid itself I put a neutral blah sort of shadow, like Grain. It gives a bit of color without looking scary or stupid.

What I especially like about it is it pushes my dark blue-green eyes to look more green.

I'm not sorry I bought it, but I will probably never run out of it.

I wonder if Blue Orbit (very lightly applied) could work as a pale blue/lavender cheek highlight.Maybe together with Peony Petal
or another blue based pink blush.

Did anyone try this combo?

Probably, but you might need to wash them a couple of times.

Put powder on your brushes to soak up the oil before you wash them. You probably need to wash them several times. Wash them with shampoo first (twice) followed by an alcohol-based brush cleanser.

And yes, I'd scrape off the top layer of the products that have marks. If you don't take care of it - ruffing up the surface and removing residue - it's the death sentence for these products. You can use a rough metal brush to do this. A brush like this should take care of it: http://www.discountdance.com/dancewear/style_BR1.html

Haven't tried it. I don't have Peony Petal, but i have NARS Gaiety, which is a matte blue-based pink. I can give it and Blue Orbit a try tomorrow and report back. I suspect it will look a bit unnatural, but that sort of thing doesn't bother me. I occasionally use ChenMan Blue Reflects on my cheeks as a special effects "highlighter". I figure at my age i can wear whatever i like
