I have the three blushes in my cart right now, and my finger is hovering on the Submit Final Order button. Maybe I should wait til ive had some coffee and am thinking straight.

Kinda lemming worldly wealth, eden rouge, restless, camden chic, local wares....LOL! Not gonna go there with the shadows and hopefully not placing any more orders, but am really loving this collection! Do we have any ideas on what the model on left in promo pic is wearing on lips? I thought it might be Nomad + restless....

MAC Splashproof Lash :) I've been using it for years now, it's the best one I ever tried.
Naynadine I have SUPER sensitive eyes and have almost given up on mascaras -- do you think this would be worth a try? Any flaking and I'm in tears

I have another P+P Lip question. Is it necessary to reapply it when touching up your lipstick (such as after a meal), or is the first application good enough?

that one was nice too!
actually i found quite a few of the cremesheens in the new collection were very nice swatched on me, which i was surprised seeing as how pastelly some of them seemed. and that orange is pretty damn orange!
I'm wearing that "pretty damn orange" now! LOL I just dabbed it on and added the orangey CSG for a softer look. In fact, due to all the Prep & Prime talk, I used the P&P lip with it. I also used my prep and prime cheek compact. I buy these items but forget to use them and after awhile I completely forget the purpose of them. I have one Prep and Prime product that I cannot for the life of me remember the purpose of it.

Anyway, back on topic - I just got my box.

Off to play with my goodies. I can't believe I just finished putting on my face and my box comes. I actually decided to go with the EL Bronze Sands palette that I've ignored this summer but I did use Marine Life. I've been trying to use this one more. I was in love with it two?? summers ago, what happened? I still love it though.

It's the only mascara I tried that doesn't flake on me. I used different waterproof drugstore ones before, and they all had the flaking issue more or less. So regarding that I can really recommend it, it might be worth a try for you.

My order just arrived. I freaking LOVE Fresh Wares, but I knew it would. It's definitely dark dirty olive on me. I think I will wear this to death. I have six fluidlines now and this reminds me of Dark Diversion in that it's a 'not black or brown but not a vivid colour' either. I couldn't have asked for a better shade. Perfect for my brown eyes/warm skin tone.

Camden Chic definitely works for me, but I expected it to. It's a warm brownish red and they almost always do. I was happy to see that it's definitely different from Approaching Storn, which has more of a burgandy/plum undertone. It's deeper than Retro, which I've been wearing for probably 15 years (I've finished every tube I've purchased and have probably replaced it 7 or 8 times). This is my first Mattene. I like the small size and shape - they don't take up much space in my makeup drawer. I think I like the finish of NARS Pure Matte lippies better (I am loving Moscow) but it's not a fair comparison since the MAC lippie was $18 and the NARS one $32. Do I like it twice as much? No, probably not. Can't compare the wear of the two yet since I just put this on.

I don't like it quite as much as Retro but I like it more than Approaching Storm. I'm sure I'll wear it this fall; I have a lot in this family of colours. These tones to me as as basic as pinks are to many.

T: ''MAC Hidden Treasure Blush ($20.00 for 0.21 oz.) is described as a “rich burnt red. It has a velvet finish, according to the back, though the press release had originally listed it as a satin.'' Weird.. But I love the color yay!

I placed my order yesterday morning and it still hasn't been shipped out. You call that express shipping!?
Aw, that's too bad. I ordered mine about 11:00 and it arrived before noon. It may have actually shipped; MAC is slow to update the site. I got my shipment confirmation from Fedex yesterday afternoon; hopefully you'll get yours today and it will arrive on Monday. :)

Left to right, flash, no flash, natural light: On the Hunt, Marche Aux Puces, Whims and Fancies

Top: Eclectic Edge l/g, left Camden Chic, right Fashion Nomad, bottom Restless Flash and no Flash

Supercontinental, Hidden Treasure, Worldly Wealth

First Impressions from Swatches:
I don't think the pics really show off the shimmer in the On the Hunt duo. This is my first time buying a duo and I don't like that the individual colors aren't listed. I know I won't be able to remember them. I really like Performance Art - a color right up my alley. I like that some of these duos are paired with mattes as I rarely wear mattes and would like to add some to my repertoire. I like that the colors in these duos pair well together. In many of the duos I've seen in the past, I would not wear the two colors together but these I would.

Wow! Hidden Treasure is super pigmented. I used a cotton ball to swatch the blushes. Worldly Wealth doesn't look like much on my hand but it is really pretty. I'm not worried it won't show up on my face because it is no lighter than Get Away Bronze and that shows up fine on me. I think blushes are hard to swatch anyway. Now I really don't like the Supercontinental swatch. It looks too light and chalky. But I haven't worn this on my face yet. Many of the Tres Cheeks colors looked terrible swatched on my hand but looked pretty good on my cheeks. Plus, it doesn't look that light in the pan as it does on my hand. Odd. Style Seeker nail polish looks really red to me. I don't know where this orange is coming from. It looks so orange in pics. It doesn't look duochrome in the bottle but maybe the lighting makes a difference. Maybe it really is duochrome - red in some lights and orange in others. I guess only trying it on the nail is the way to know for sure. Maybe later.

Well, these are just my first impressions from swatching. I'd rather try everything on and tell you what I think. But I know that would take some time. I figure some people may be ready to pull the trigger and some info is better than nothing. I'll take my time trying everything on and report back later. HTH!

Would you say it is warm toned? I am wondering if it looks darker or lighter than Retro? And hopefully like a warmer version of Approaching Storm, one of my favorite lippies ever.

Me too. From all the posts about it, I want to see if it makes the csg last longer and make the lipsticks that go on all skippety skip more smooth.
I have Eden Rouge and it is gorgeous, the perfect matte red. It leans slightly warm for me. Camden chic looks way more brick/brown red. They are so different, I think both are justified.

It's darker and deeper (a bit redder) than Retro. It's warmer than Approaching Storm - AS is more burgandy/purplish. I've swatched the three on my arm, but unfortunately my camera is broken or I'd be happy to post a pic for you.

Edit: I just got a sleepy teenager to take a pic for me. When she's coherent enough to log on, download and email a pic to me, I'll figure out how to post it.

Since I do wear a lot of matte formulas that do tend to skippety skip {nice phrase ty} I feel safe in saying that yes it does smooth out application. At least for me. Universal qualifier there :p

Whoops! I forgot all about Local Wares 'til I saw AudreyC's post. I thought maybe it didn't come but it was hidden in the corner of the box. Side by side, Local Wares and Avenue are indistinguishable from one another. Looking through the sides of the glass jar, Local Wares does look more olive compared to Avenue but on the skin they look the same. I'm happy about this because I slipped once and got a bunch on my hand so my Avenue is not as smooth and neat as my other fluidlines and it looks like a lot is gone. It is my most used fluidline and I was so sorry that I hadn't backed it up.
