none of you are idiots for not using or knowing about Ebates.......it takes time for enabling to get all the way across the country!

I am headed to Nordstroms after work to see swatches and narrow down the final purchase of the Glamour Daze collection. The Lavish Rose glosses and pigments are not available for purchase until November 8th.

Ebates is great to use for Black Friday and holiday shopping. They offer extra cash back deals and I don't want to deal with the traffic at the malls. Also, if you go to Retailmenot and get a coupon code for a store. Then go through Ebates, get the cash back, and use the discount coupon code at checkout.

Can you tell that I shop wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much and my husband has caught on????

naynadine mischievous mint and in the limelight are the same thing you dont need both. one looks lighter in the bottle but nope the same thing on the nails.
they are labeled different tho. ITL says Pearl and MM cream. but they are crazy. im going to keep ITL as a MM replacement. i was lucky and got a really got brush, which my MM lacks. im going to save MM and just use ITL, when i finish that ill keep the good brush for MM. now i have the MM back up i never got.






can you tell which nails have ITL and MM??

Thanks so much for this!! No, I couldn't tell at all which one was ITL. I also looked at T's swatches of both side by side, they look extremely similar, no need to own both. I'm skipping ITL.
The brush on my first MM was so crappy, I had to return it. My 2nd one was better, but still not great.
And I need to mention that OMG, I love your haircut!

I ordered when it was released on Tues at noon and opted for express shipping and still nothing from FedEx =/
I think I might have missed their same day processing cut off time, can't recall what it was. Usually I get my order the very next day though.
They do say processing within 1-2 days so I'm still hoping....Would suck to have to wait until next week after paying express to get it faster ><

those brushes are more uneven that my cat's whisker hahah!! i got MM at the cco last year i didnt buy mac when quite cute came out. it was a good find but the brush makes it a half good find.

i dont think that its worth it. do you have lets skate paint pot?? it not the same pink but its a really good pink base, it does what its supposed to.

I also ordered on Tuesday and hadn't received a shipping notification yet... so I called this morning and they said there were 'delays' in processing but that my order *should* be shipped out today... still haven't received any email notifications of any kind though. She did offer to waive my shipping fee due to the delay, so it might be worth a phone call to see what your status is and perhaps you can also have your shipping waived

I hope mine went thru only macys called but that was only for one EDes ;/ my big order was from nords but I didn't get a call the Mac store didn't call me either for my travel bag.... they didn't even give me a copy of the preorder so hopefully it's ready to pick up. I lagged getting out of bed lol so I'm getting up now. will update when I return! Am I crazy ? I think I'm going to go to the Cco in gilroy, I just called in sick lmao ( I get paid sick days so I'm still getting $$ lol) but do I really need to go when I'm getting so much new stuff today? ya.... Yes, I do have Let's Skate. In fact, I wore it on Tuesday, topped with Sweet Lust e/s.

This is my I'm skipping this collection haul:

I went to Mac first thing (there were 4 women already there at just 10:10am!) and got Ready to Party shadow, Impossibly Sweet lipglass, Small Vanity blush, Glamourdaze and Outrageous Fun lipstick. Outrageous Fun didn't remind me of Up the Amp and that's a good thing b/c I am really tired of that color and Glamour Daze is a really nice everyday sort of color. I see why it's so popular. Impossibly Sweet surprised me. It's one of those great multi-colored shimmery glosses that will go great over different shades to add more dimension. I love glosses like that. I got Ready to Party shadow because I am always chasing after those light pink shades and this one seems pretty pigmented and smooth. I played with the Paramour Pink set and I really wish I could've bought the lipstick separately. It never fails every year: There's only one item that I want in a set and I can't buy it alone, but I can't force myself to pay $70 for the entire set. The coral set didn't seem to suit my skin, so that was an easy pass. Then, I went over to Nordstroms and got Small Vanity blush (it was already gone at the Mac store). It surprised me b/c I thought it would be similar to something I already have, but it's not. They didn't have testers for the pigment and gloss sets, but I saw all these boxes sitting out on the floor and I asked what was in them. The MUA opened all the boxes for me and I chose the nude gloss set. I was going to get the purple, but I only really wanted the sparkly purple shade and it's not worth it getyou: Mac!). I actually liked the Nordstoms exclusive set of the nude lipstick, blush, gloss. The blush is the sort of warm copper brown I've been dying for, but the gloss is a lighter version of impossibly sweet and I'm not sure if the lipstick would work on me (it probably would, but I still had my doubts). I'll probably go back for it. So, that's it. Everything else was totally uninteresting to me. The other EDES are all shades I've seen a million times and Innocence and Beauty lipsticks look dreadful on my skin. :yuck: The black, sparkly nail polish was nice, but I'm not a fan of Mac polish. I'd rather get Zoya or China Glaze for a few more bucks.

I don't have ordering drama, and heretofore, my system of pre-ordering via my local MAC store & Nordstrom worked flawlessly. Well, today I nearly had a heart attack. Per usual, I preordered via my favorite SA at Nordies a week ago. She suggested that either I would call her today, October 25 (no mistake here, I wrote it down...documentation matters) or she would call me. At 10:30 sharp (thought I'd give her 30 minutes to get settled at the start of her workday) alarms on both my iPhone & iPad said, it's time to make the call. When I called I was told she WAS OFF TODAY!! My

sank. I mentioned my pre-order from a week ago and the SA said, "no problem I'll check the back for your order". When she came back to the phone she had found NO ORDER. After magically resuscitating myself, I heard the words..."Not to worry, let's review your list." So while on the phone, gasping for air and diaphoresing profusely, this 'Angel of MAC' via Nordstrom pulled the items that I wanted. A portion of my pre-order involved items not yet launched, so she is confirming those...no problem. I am still recovering...

Wow, how stressful! I'm happy that it all worked out in the end. It's odd that the order wasn't there, though!

I am soooo PO'd. I made a very large pre-order at my local MAC. Everything was fine at the store...SA's are wonderful there. However, the brushes are complete garbage!!! I have the G&I ones from last year (recently got them at CCO) and I like them. I know many don't but I find them useful in ways that my regular MAC brushes aren't. When I saw the release pictures from this year's set I was completely psyched so I ordered all 3 sets. They are much worse quality. The 187 is much thinner (handle and bristles) and softer but softer in a bad way. The 130 is good. The other mineral brushes are fine. The two other sets are not made from the same type of bristles as last years. Both blush/powder brushes feel completely useless. I have no idea how they can possibly apply powder. The shader (think it's 239) is ok but not as good as last year's. The blender (think it's called 217) is about the same quality as last year's. All of the crease brushes are ok. IMO, the quality just isn't there this year. I got so upset that I'm not even opening the eyeshadow sets. I'm just bringing them back (saw the swatches...I actually have a lot of them already) and getting lipglass. I did buy 4 lipglasses and they seem just as good as the regular line. I'm so disappointed. My daughter (8 yo) was with me when I ordered the brushes and asked for some pink brushes so I was just going to give her a couple but now she's getting the whole set to play with. She'll be excited because she gets to dress up for dance class tonight so she can put her makeup on with the brushes.

Oh, forgot to add that the little leopard print bags for the lip kits were not to my liking at all. I was drooling over them in promos, but in person they're tacky and cheap looking. No thanks. I actually prefer the look of the little boxes with the bow on front.
