MAC Nudes & Metallics Collection (April 2013) Pro Store Only

I thought I would want more from this collection but as it stands I will only be getting Dominate e/s. At least that''s what I'm telling myself today.

Just noticed that on Temptalia the descriptions for the eye shaows and the lipsticks are EXACTLY the same. Could that be an error?

The Fashion Sets collection is pretty much like that, so it's not improbable that they're all the same shades. The products in the promos look like they correspond to each other. We'll just have to see.

It looks like the descriptions are the same on Mac-Guy's original post on this thread too, so maybe that's how MAC is describing these colors.

I suspect that most of the Nude lipsticks won't work for me - in the photo, at least, they all look too orange.
And most of the Nude eye shadows are just not exciting me - i realize they are supposed to be nude - i think the first two may work...
But I can understand how a makeup artist could use them all.

The Metallics have me more excited. I'll still probably only get Dominate lipstick, but all the eye shadows are lookin' good, except maybe the brown.

Can't wait to swatch them!

Am i the only who was let down by the promo pics? For some reason I was picturing something completely different in my head. Before the promo pics were released, I thought I wanted pretty much everything based on the list, but now only a couple things appeal to me. Not sure if they will be worth ordering from Vancouver PRO store for. I guess we will have to wait for swatches!

I have to admit, now that I've seen products pics, I'm actually less excited about this collection. One or two of the shadows look nice, but I feel very let down especially by the nude lippies. Maybe they'll be nicer than they look (some colors look much better on a face than they do in a tube), but for now, I'm bored.

The promo photos all look surprisingly warm. I guess they match the colour descriptions well enough, but all the metallics look quite muted. I think that I was expecting something a little more "glam rock". The nudes look... nude. All of them look too warm for me to wear, which is what I expected from the descriptions. I'll definitely be hauling my butt to the pro store to see these, because I suspect I'll want to get a lipstick or two. I suspect that I'll have dupes in my stash already for the shadows, but I could be persuaded.

Oddly, I think I want the nude e/s and the metallic lippies, usually I'm the other way around.
