MAC In Extra Dimension Collection 2013 (April 2013)

I alternate its use. I intended it to be for foundation when I originally purchased. But I've since gone back to my trusty mac 187 So as of lately I've been using these ED blushes with the #2. And it's great for cream blushes too!! I'm sure you have some of those in your stash

I recieved my SF's today and I didnt notice any fingerprints. I checked right away because I had ordered from Macys and was concerned since one is a BDay present

Both of mine arrived in flawless condition. No light marks, no fingerprints. I always check my stuff carefully. I've used both so I've now got brush strokes or worn areas in the writing, but they certainly didn't arrive that way.

It definitely looks like a fingerprint to me, so I emailed Nordies.    Now, off to enjoy the rest of my haul...

I wonder if it's just a manufacturing process side effect that has the unfortunate look of a fingerprint. I went and deliberately put my finger and then my thumb down on my Def Def and one of the shadows to see if I could get a visible fingerprint, and you couldn't tell I touched it even though I pressed down reasonably hard.

Ok my Double Definition looks like it was open, and what looks like a fingerprint that actually dented the product. ALso I did not get my shape the future... sigh...

Wow, the fingerprints! I'm really happy mine didn't have that, they do however have the 'watermarking' swirlyness on them and they reversed the STF and Def. Defined in my orders.

I got my blushes today and I was most concerned about at dusk and bareness so those are the ones I want to try first! I just tried them on my sister (nc 35) and it doesn't show up at all on her. I wonder how they'll look on me, :/ I'm already wearing warm soul today and I'm too lazy Togo wipe my makeup off so tomorrow we shall see .. *fingers crossed*

You probably aren't leaving prints because the product is already baked. The prints probably happened before and cooked right in. I loved L&O for years. At one point I watched it 4x/day. k, some of the pictures posted totally look like fingerprints! I'm wondering if the products are partly assembled by hand, not just by machine? someone pushing the product pan into the plastic compact to assemble? If that's the case it doesn't look like they wear gloves!!!!!

I'm never ever ordering from Macy's again! When I opened my box, I thought it was weird because my boxes had smudges of the makeup on them. Plus every single one of my items were opened, and the product was just sitting loosely in there. Each box had an opened flap. Then I looked at my Shape the Future and there are two clear finger swipes on it in the lighter part, and a little chunk missing out of the darker like someone tested it! My Double Def. looks okay, doesn't look it it was touched. My Def. Defined has a tiny hairline crack in part of it. I'm really annoyed because I paid full price for these, and I get one that has finger marks on it? Really? Nordies would NEVER have sent me anything like this. I can't return them because Macy's will charge me $7 just to ship it back! But I feel like they should know about it because it's messed up to send someone a makeup item that's been tested by someone else like that.

I totally agree! I ordered shape the future and received definately defined sux bc I just bought def def in store today so now I have 2! I don't feel like dealing with Macy's return shipment so ill just exchange my mac defdef. Macy's is deff slacking and I'm nvr ordering from them again!

I finally got the chance to unbox my ED haul that arrived yesterday!




Question... a few of these boxes (MAC packaging) arrived opened, which is not a big deal because it seems to be a common issue? However, I did notice that my DD looks like this. The top part has areas that are lighter - is this normal? And the bottom part looks like it has a fingerprint?

That was the first thing I noticed before I even opened the compact. I inspected everything else and they all looked fine.
