I've been playing with my eyeshadows, and I am going to return Hajar Karim. It is so hard to get it to apply and to blend well. It went on quite patchy. Too bad, because in the pan it is such a pretty green. :(

Oh No! I really like Hajar Karim! Did the farasha eyeshadow worked for you?

Yes, that one I love. Maybe I will test Hajar Karim over a white base before totally giving up on it. It was so difficult for me to use though.

Rimal Dahabia quad
l to r:
shroom, soft brown, beauty burst, najm el lail
I'll be sending this back. nothing unique about it, although I really like beauty burst, it's not worth it. the darkest color is really patchy as well.
anyone know of dupes for beauty burst?
i'm not sure since i don't own beauty burst, but i think off hand the colour reminds me of the reddish shade in surabaya nars duo. maybe nars would be a little more shimmery of course. maybe you could compare them in a sephora before you return your quad?

Did you use any kind of base underneath? Did you pat it on rather than swipe? By the looks of it, it needs to be patted/packed on. It's so pretty so I'm hoping it works for you.

Received my haul today:

Rimal Dahabia quad / Hajar Karim / Banafsaji / Parrot

I swatched over a little MUFE HD Primer. I had to build all colors up to the shown intensity. Parrot started of slow, but ended up looking nice. I agree it's probably no longer unique, but I can see why it was hunted down previously. Banafsaji comes across as purplish as it's building. Very pretty color. Hajar Karim was indeed patchy. Hopefully I can try it on my eyes this weekend to see if it's easier to work with in proper conditions.

The quad colors are okay. Basics so nothing to write home about. Soft Brown barely shows up on me. IRL it wasn't as bad as the pics. Beauty Burst is quite smooth. If you happen to see shimmer in the Najm el Lail it's from my brush. I will try a proper eye look to see if this quad is a keeper.

I already have shroom, but there is less than subtle pan porn going on with it. I have wanted soft brown for some time now but it is not available in Europe anymore. That already justified buying the quad. Beautyburst looks pretty as well as the darkest shade so that's a bonus. I expect the quad to be useful.

I have to agree.  Awesome customer service and the products are fantastic.  I own every available pressed shadow and most of the loose pigment shadows.  The colors are super rich and vibrant.  My order had a note, a free sticker and a small sample of goldilux. BTW goldilux is beyond gorgeous.  If I had to recommend a single product from sugarpill, goldilux would be it.  I can't wait for the two new palettes to come out.
I Own all the palettes and loose powders. They are so amazing. Their pressed shadows are my hg in bright mattes. They are pigmented and so blendable! And I love how affordable they are

My goodies came! Only got the despatch notice at like 4pm last night so I wasn't expecting them to be here today.

Rimal Dahabia quad and Banafsaji (plus I finally managed to catch the large palette in stock so my loose pans have a home)

I used an eye primer, and I patted it on. I just found this to have a really difficult formula. I am hoping a white base will make it pop, but I don't have my hopes up.

It definitely needs to be patted on, I used TFSI and then a thin layer of Nyx Jumbo Milk and had no issues with it. On a primer its quite dry though, and on bare skin it is extremely difficult to work with.

Good to know that patting might fare better for Hajar Karim. thanks everyone. I haven't been able to get NYX Milk to work well for me. It's either patchy or too opaque. I may have to just move on to Paint Pots.

I don't have much luck with Milk either. I did get a Milani pencil recently, and so I am going to give that one a go as a base.

I have the same problem with patchyness if i apply it with a brush, I usually need to apply it with my finger cause the warmth sort of melts the product and evenly distributes it. Gosh has some excellent shadowsticks that i use as bases aswell though!

Good to know, internetchick. I always worry it's just user error.

Thanks for the recommendation, Honi.

If they had sold Beauty Burst as a single I would have bought it for sure. I also already have shroom and soft brown.
Ditto. Such a pretty color. I don't have anything like it in my collection. Not worth getting the quad though for just 1 color.

Maybe using it over one of the new color tattoos might help? They are particularly creamy.
