My pretties came today!!! I can post swatches and comparisons if you'd like when i get back. Need to run real quick for some blood tests. Just lemme know. I got BMS and RFL (swoon ).
I have to be careful about matching foundation to my face because I have some excess pigmentation from sun damage. If I match my face, I will look like I have a mask on because my neck and chest (that are about NC20) are so much lighter. It's taken a lot of trial and error to find the solution. I match the skin towards the back of my jaw (as suggested by Lisa Eldriidge in her foundation series) and now things blend in much more naturally. If you just took the foundations I now use (Clinique Redness Solutions in Calming Ivory plus just a bit of tinted moisturizer in medium) and put it on my darkest area then it would look too light. When it's blended into my entire face it's perfect.  I've decided to visit a highly recommended dermatologist in Toronto to see what she can do to reduce pigmentation and take away the remaining age spots I have on my face. I've used serums and retinoids but I think I've improved things as much as I can without professional help. My boss had a couple of peels and had her age spots removed with a laser. It was fairly non-invasive and her skin looks fabulous. The difference is subtle, but she has the even-toned skin of a much younger woman.
My sister had all her spots lazered off. Worked like a charm and her face was much clearer, til she went back out into the sun.
That was the same thing i was thinking. Are they limited edition?
Everythings perm.

Altered beige! Ummm maybe I don't like altered beige anymore ;( might go well with a gloss on top. It's frosty than I expected it to be
Yes girl, a gloss will make all the difference! Throw sun love nectar on them lips!
Ok, dont know if this has been asked before, being that I was over 800 comments behind... But are the power chrome eye pencils anything like the MAC shade sticks?? I was really bummed that they stop making them before I got to purchase one...
Not at all. These dry down and are waterproof. They also won't work as an official shadow base, as they won't grab the product.
When does this release in counters again? Got RFL and AB but can't seem to get bms, fmp, and underdressed off my mind. But want to see them in person.
A week from today.

Heads up: I emailed customer service because I had paid for 2-day shipping, and I asked if they would give me my money back since I received the email with the offer code. They are reimbursing the 5 bucks! Yay!

Yes to swatches - my order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow by noon. Can't wait! Too bad about your sis - was she really careful with sunscreen afterwards? My boss' haven't come back and it's been three years.

Couldn't justify getting Rythm without FMP :(
Rhythm will go well with most MAC magenta-purple lipsticks, such as Seductive Intent, Style Curve, Up the Amp, not just Feel My Pulse, and probably with Heroine, Strong Woman, and Violetta, as well, although those last three are a bit deeper in color.

It will probably work with MAC's magenta-fuchsia pink lipsticks, and even some plummy colors, as well, if you don't already have a gloss that goes with them.

If you have some of the lighter cooler colored lavender lipsticks - VG Nicki2, Lavender Whip, Budding Love, et al - and wish they were pinker and a little more strongly colored, Rhythm will probably give them a bit of a boost, too.

And Rhythm is more purple than Archie's Mall Madness, which is more pink, so if MM disappointed you, check out Rhythm.

I thought I had quite a lot already - I had about 18. LOL

My latest hauls will take me up to about 50. I'm sure I'll continue to buy bottles here and there, but I've got them all sorted by colour in an acrylic tray/box with a handle. I'm anal about keeping my collections (makeup, polish, whatever) in the size space I have for it. If I want more than what will fit in there, I'll start pruning out colours I'm meh about. I'm sure this is heresy to the polish addicted, but I'm having trouble seeing how I could need more than what I have. Replace some, sure. But 50 shades is a different pedicure each week for a YEAR. Hard to even convince myself that I need more variety than that.

To be fair, almost 10 of the shades are sheers/nudes that I wear on my hands (conservative professional environment) and another 10 are base/top coats (including glitters to layer). So I guess I can use each colour in a pedi about TWICE a year. I haven't been buying nearly as much makeup as I did last year, and now I feel like I've built up a good polish collection too. (But I'm definitely staying farrrrr away from that thread because I know what will happen).

You're quite sensible. I too was in a conservative work environment but I'm at home now and I've just gone buck-wild. Pretty pathetic I tell you but so much fun! I'm going back to the NP thread before I get an eviction notice from TR. Here's this week's damage:

One of the highlights from my haul is a polish called David Bowie's Buldge.
Wow! I like David Bowie's Bulge! I'd like to get my hands on it!

OK, OK, it's coral with multi-sized swimming-pool-blue glitter, including some big 'uns. I googled it...

I would definitely have to wear a liner with a color like Altered Beige. A gloss wouldn't be so bad either. Soft Serenade or Liquid Passion should look nice on top of it.

You look beautiful!! Such a lovely combo!
Thank you ladies!

I definitely don't regret getting BMS. I know some of us were comparing it to the UD Naked palette but I think once applied to the eyes they are totally different, IMO. UD Naked has more browns, where as, BMS is more bronzy, greenish. <~~~~ (lol, I could never be a blogger with this kind of terminology!)

& again, I am loving Caliente more than I thought I would. Does have a lot of sparkle but it's still has a plum tone to it. If you don't like glitter then I don't recommend it.

I am, however, regretting Soft Serenade. I love the packaging but if I'm not going to use it I might return it. I thought I might like it but I'm just not a gloss girl. Maybe I can exchange it for FMP, if that ever gets restocked!

For anybody wanting to order from Nordstrom's, when you search Temperature Rising, the body oil pops up with the promo image. I'm going to assume it maybe launching soon.
