I got my goodies today. Love them (RFL, FMP, &BMS). I recall someone saying something along the lines of FMP being an everyday Heroine and I agree. With a couple of swipes over my lips, it's actually purple and not magenta on me. It's quite opaque once built up and I love it. Although with just one swipe, it is a pinky purple. Very lovely. I actually want to back it up but I don't think I will because of the upcoming collections.

And of course the packaging is awesome!

What colors do you gravitate towards?

I was looking at the inglot website itself, would definitely check that out! Probably an everyday palette, my skills are pretty much non existent lol, so having a palette with all the colors needed for a look would be really handy! u should see me staring at my naked palette figuring out which color goes where

ok I tried to do a preorder and my girl said they aren't allowed to anymore ;( she said she will try to hide me some stuff but I don't know if I can trust that! I've heard too many stories here of ppl being told that and the they go pick up their stuff and it's not there and everything is sold out already ;( I want FMP and caliente lipsticks. rhythm and undressed lipglosses and ripe for love blush! but u kno what? if I don't get any of it I won't be that upset lol that means I actually shouldn't Even buy any of it and that i have enough makeup! but well I do want it still for the packaging lol. I don't kno what to do. I believe her but should I just go first thing in the am and grab my stuff? she works that night n ill feel bad if I do that and she actually pulled my items for me... ughh I'll decide after I talk to her next week ima pay her a visit Tuesday to see if they have the testers available

And that is Caliente on my lips. ED blazing haute on my cheeks.

I know I'm probably alone with this one, but I'm not a fan of inglot's shadows. I tried three (I had the palette where you can choose e/s or lipstick) of the shades and though they were good for the price, I was kinda meh about them overall. I'm not sure if it was the texture or what anymore...

What?! You must go to a store and swatch! There mattes and pearl shadows are the business. Doesn't matter the finish really they are so worth it and dirt cheap in comparison to many brands. Plus the quality is amazing. I have about 60 shadows but no rainbows, must get some of those!

OMG i didn't know this existed!!! I knew they were carrying the line, but i didn't know the swatches were there too! Holy crap! :fluffy: The only thing bugging me tho is that it shows 228 colours, but on inglot's site it shows 229. Hmmm...which one is missing...

OK. You're absolutely right, of course.
I wrote from a total distrust of ebay and having been burned on some MAC brush purchases.

Still, judging by the reactions to this collection, I'll stand by my warning
The fakers work very quickly when they think it worth their while.

Yeah, after talking to one of my favorite MAC artists today I am settled on FMP, Rhythm, Soft Serenade, and Underdressed. I really only play up my lips during the hot New Orleans summers. I love the idea of the BMS quad but with my extensive collection she assured me it would just be a repeat (and I knew that...just got caught up in the hype). When you really get down to it, no one can tell these slight variations on the eye. And, while I was organizing my makeup today I found at least 4 green/teal eyeshadows that have never been touched since they were purchased: Jealousy Wakes, Surf USA, Surf the Ocean stack, and my Photorealism quad. Not to mention the countless "neutral" palettes that I just HAD to HAVE: WnW Nude Awakening, WnW Sparkle til Morning, almost every brown/gold/taupe eyeshadow MAC has made, my Naked palette, and the list goes on. So that's it...a cheap $66 haul for me AND I have a $25 gift card that I saved from my birthday!

I've been on a shoe buying frenzy, so my Temp Rising budget is minimal. Thinking Caliente, RFL, maybe the other blush, and I might treat myself to one of the quads or two of the lipglasses. Depends on when I get to my counter.

My box came in! Gotta love overnight with a code. I bought all the lipsticks and glossses and tried them all. I didn't originally plan to get them all but I liked how they all looked liked a lipstick was paired with a gloss. But oddly enough, I tried them all alone and like them that way. I may pair some later.

• Altered Beige - I was unsure of this one. It is so hard to buy nudes without trying it first and I tend to like warmer nudes. This surprisingly worked well for a pinky nude. I did pair it with Cushy liner though. It went on smooth but I did put on a lip balm right before applying it. Oh I did dab on the nude gloss over it but it wasn't necessary. Altered Beige looked good on its own.
• Caliente - love - feels smooth on lips but I did have a bit of glitter on my chin - not much but that is the nature of the beast. Love this finish though. So sparkly.
• Sheer Seduction - love this as much as Caliente - these bronze base colors look very neutral on my skin so they tend to go with almost any look so I buy them a lot.
• Feel My Pulse - I bought this on a whim. I just threw it in because I was getting all the other colors. This is so not me but I liked it. I paired it with Just Wonderful lip liner and it was a good match. To me it does look like all the other purple colors that have been popular on this forum in the last year or so but I don't have anything like it. But a purple lover may disagree though.
• Liquid Passion l/g - A pinky beige that worked for me. I wore it with Cushy liner though. I don't usually do liners but I know I usually need one for nudes. I usually try it first without but for some reason I didn't this time. Who knows maybe I can skip the liner. The color did remind me of some Chanel glosses I have but swatching them on my hand they were close but not exact. Now that I think of it. I don't wear any of those Chanel glosses with liner. I probably didn't need this one since it is close enough for me but I'll keep it.
• Soft Serenade l/g - someone said this was pretty much just sparkles and it is true but I really like it. I think I will wear it a lot.
• Rhythm l/g - all I could think when I put this on is Revenge is Sweet. But I love the pink/fuchsia shimmers in it.
• Undressed - love this one. It has the look of dazzle lipsticks to me. Lots of glitter in it but very pretty. It reminds me of Oh Baby the way the shimmers are in it. But I like this one much more as it is warmer has more glittery colors in it. This one suits me much better. I have Oh Baby but never wear it. I think this color will be popular because it is unusual but I don't know if people will like all the glitter in it. It is not for everyone. But it is definitely for me.

I having a big dilemma here. Should I back up? I may have to hit the stores on Thursday. I ordered online to avoid all that. I haven't liked a summer collection this much in years. I can't remember the last one I loved so much. No all the colors are not super unusual but they suit me. Loving it!

I just got home and my box of goodies was waiting for me!

I'm so glad I picked up a bronzer in this packaging! It suits it so well. So pretty

I haven't tried anything yet (Both quads, sun dipped + altered beige) since I still have my makeup on but there is plenty of time over the long weekend to play around with everything, yay! I am happy with everything I purchased.

I haven't regretted skipping on RFL yet. I just told myself that more similar colours will come our way - no doubt. I have to start saving $$$!
It's only been one day after the collection release and I'm already thinking and prepping for the next collection lol. Damn sickness!

I'm tempted to order the bronzer just for the packaging. I love it too.

I've seen people hthat have t'hem on YouTube can't Bellver i've been sleeping on them. I have about 60 shadows but no rainbows, must get some of those!

Oh how I love these swatches! BMS is looking so beautiful. And I just got FMP along with one of the shadow pencils everything is looking nice against your skin hon

. I bought Caliente, Altered Beige,underdressed,soft serenade and the nude lipglass. BMS, refined golden,RFL and golden strobe liquid. I didn't pick up FMP.. May swatch it in store next week. I know the fail of bu girl..lol..lol.. Contemplating about hot nights if I really need it..

You will love cliente and underdressed if you like sparkle. If you have prom princess you dont really need the only difference is that hot nights is More pigmented and its a different finish.
