I also wanted both polishes, but with 1,000 bottles and counting (yes I'm a true nail polish heaux/ fanatic/junkie 1,000 bottles...2 full IKEA helmers and a few plastic shoe boxes full lol) I had to pass...for now.

LMAO because misery loves company. I don't have 1,000 bottles (yet), but I so understand the addiction. You must come on over to the Nail Polish thread. We're one great big happy enabling family. This addict did order both NPs---couldn't help it. I don't think I have anything like either of them in my stash, but then again it might have helped if I'd checked.

Hanging out at bit with mom at Macys. It is her bday. Decided to try out a few items I did not place on my pre order list at Nordstrom. I ended up getting Soft Serenade and the Golden Strobe Elixir. Luckily for me, I had a Macys $25 reward certificate from my Macys Visa card so that helped. I am wandering around the store loving the hell outta Caliente I tested however I have it waiting for me at Nordies 2moro. I am looking in every mirror I pass in the cosmetics area, lol

Ladies how do you like the strobe liquid!? This is my 1st time trying it...trying to decide if I want to keep it or not:/ I already have oily skin, I'm praying this wont make it worst bc it's so gorge!!! I'm nw45, did any other ladies with my skin tone get this!?

I ended up going to my MAC counter bright and early like the addict I am. I went in with the intention of just getting Caliente and Sheer Seduction and walked out with Caliente and FMP instead. I could not resist FMP. I wanted to try the bronzers, I asked the MAC MUA for help picking one. She recommended Soft Sand for me, saying all the the other bronzers would not fit me since "I'm so golden already". I didn't really like Soft Sand, I guess I'm not meant for bronzer? So I guess my final haul is: RFL FMP Caliente Underdressed

I was talking with the MA and basically if/when I mix it with my foundation I won't apply it to my t-zone area, I'd more concentrate it on the outer plane of my face so I can still have the dewy glow but keep a matte center which I love. With illuminators I usually mix them with a matte foundation to begin with just so it doesn't affect the lasting power much

The Eaton Centre freestanding store seemed to have everything in stock, including Bare My Soul, when I went to visit early this afternoon.

I ended up with way too much, but I'm pretty much skipping the next few collections so I justified my purchases in my head at least. LOL

I haven't seen any reviews on the makeup bag and I forgot to check it out the both times I was shopping. I feel like I'm the only one interested in it... Loving the bronzey colour that matches the packaging but I'm just worried that it's not good quality. I may get it but if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.

I'm NC40 & my skin isn't crazy oily but in the summer my t-zone does definitely produce more shine/oil so I had the same reservations as you.  I was talking with the MA and basically if/when I mix it with my foundation I won't apply it to my t-zone area, I'd more concentrate it on the outer plane of my face so I can still have the dewy glow but keep a matte center which I love. I hate that it's the same people working! They always say "Well, look who it is" when I show up. I'm also notorious for going back the next day, bright and early AGAIN, to buy more stuff. Ah the life of a MAC addict...

Maybe it's a good thing that they recognize you---they should know who's keeping them in business! Also, they know when they put things on hold for you that you're a serious addict shopper and will be in to get your items.

I went to my local Macy's counter(since I knew they would have everything since they released it today) and got BMS quad, FMP and RFL. There were only 2 RFL after I got mine but they had plenty of BMS quads so thats good. This is my first MAC quad and even though it was hard handing over my card I'm glad I did. To my surprise the SA had on the Temperature Rising quad and hadn't even touched/played with the BMS quad.

How is everyone feeling about Hot Nights? Is it a must have or nice to have??

Not really. It's along the lines of the pink blush from Archies and Taste Temptation.

Which store was it that you went to? It's ridiculous that even a small counter would only receive two units of anything, but if that's a free-standing or Pro store, it's unbelievable. I noticed that almost everything is sold out on the Canadian web site. As much as I understand wanting to move stock quickly and creating a frenzy, it's a little disrespectful of people who lead busy lives to have all your stock exhausted a week after launch. This week has been super-busy for me and I haven't had a chance to go to a store. Now I'm wondering if I should bother...

Yeah MAC will send very few (as few as 3 like in this situation) depending on how well a colour or colour combo sells in a certain location.

TXBeautyBaby. Glad you got what you wanted---ENJOY!!! So, how did the TR quad look on the SA?

It looked really pretty and subtle. They were NC45 and like NC30 and they both had brown eyes. It looked like a great quad for a simple wash or color. They both said they had great texture too. I LOVE purple but I couldn't see myself grabbing for TR as much as BMS which is why I didn't get it.

I love the packaging for this collection. It's very different to anything that I have seen from Mac. I got sundipped, BMS quad, and FMP lipstick. Ripe for peach blush was tempting, but I resisted. Overall, I think this was a great collection.

I bought the Strobe liquid last week...it's OK. I'm very oily so I was already leary, but I couldn't pass up trying a darker shade of the Strobe liquid.

The first time I wore it mixed with Face and Body foundation and I hated it. I wore it again yesterday mixed in with my moisturizer (no foundation) and liked it better. Today I mixed it with my primer and it seems to be holding up. I prefer my powder MSFs over the Strobe liquid definitely.

Definitely not close to Dollymix. Hot Nights is darker, think Breezy and Dollymix mixed together. Very gorgeous color....I say get it!
