LOL she is good. Are you giving it to her? My lil cousin tried on my Ririwoo and she thought she was getting it... uh no Boo! LOL but I know that's different than a daughter.

I thought I had gotten away without spending too much on this collection. I had initially only purchased the strobe lotion. Then after all the hype about RFL, I ordered that on the re-stock. And today, I had a MAC appointment and the MUA used the BMS quad on me for a soft brown smoky eye (using the two browns on the lid and wedge in the crease), so you guessed it, I got the quad! I guess I wasn't so good after all!

Beautymarked is a color that leaves me a little confused. I wish it applied the way it appears in the pan. It's not horrible or anything...but the "red pearl" doesn't really show except for a few stray pieces.

I think it's best I dupe the quad. I am not happy with the cool tones on me. I tried googling looks to see if I should try it again. I even made sure my brushes were super clean.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Caliente. Dark colors like these are iffy on me. Even my beloved Boyfriend Stealer looks a hot mess if I put it on too dark. Makes my lips shrink.

Anyone else iffy about it besides me and TT? LOL

I didn't think I would love Caliente, but I do. Sheer Seduction, on the other hand, I'm wasn't crazy about and will probably sell it.

Yea, I ended returning my caliente after all. I put on a pink liner to lighten it but, ehh changed my mind.:bump::bump: Diva , wet n wild raisin rum, and deeply adorned the darkest I want to go these days. I:blike to add a light gloss in the middle sometimes.

is the temp. rising quad worth buying? the collection came out in australia today and it's the only thing i'm indecisive on.. i got BMS though :)

My Sheer Seduction won't arrive before Thursday. If I like it half as much as I love Caliente I'll be a happy bunny. The same applies to Underdressed. MACerette, it's all your doing!

I think it is!! I love the quad. I have been using this one a lot for everyday looks. The colors are very wearable and go well together.Some might find them not that pigmented, if you like the heavey smokey look. This one looks very natural on me.

thanks for answering :) i really like the colours but as you said i like the heavy smokey look which is why i'm a bit iffy, and tbh i mainly want it for beautymarked and the purple shade :\

I thought the lipsticks and glosses were mostly awesome this time around, and I usually am not too into the non-Mineralize summer collection.

I went to town on this collection more than I would have ever expected:

Caliente, Sheer Seduction, Feel My Pulse (but I love the Dazzle finish and haven't bought most of the purply lipsticks this year)

Rhythm, Underdressed and Soft Serenade x 2 (I've been waiting for more of this type of sparkly gloss since To the Beach)

Both blushes (and I thought I wasn't going to get either - they're colors we've seen from MAC before, but seriously the nicest versions of them in a long time)

Both polishes (too damn cute to resist and will work well into fall and holiday)

Palest and darkest eye pencil (they really do not budge at all - hope they offer some colored ones in the future)

Temperature Rising quad (this was another one that I wouldn't have thought to buy, but the colors are absolutely perfect with the deeper skin tone around my eyes)

Golden Elixir (I was on the fence at first, but I really am enjoying it added to moisturizer on my shoulders and arms and am just going to push myself to use it on my face until it's a natural part of my routine)

PHEW!!! Fortunately I'm not buying any RiRi until I can see it in person and most of this year's Mineralize is not grabbing me, for a change.

I got HN,LP and SS today and I'm in love!SS looks amazing with in synch lip pencil and UD on top,HN to me is different than PP and Supernova and LP is the best nude lipglass I have ever tried!

Well, I am allways rambling. Never really expect anybody to feel enabled by me. I sure hope you'll like them too otherwise I might feel guilty. I do like them better than Caliente so far. I actually thought about BU Underdressed, but since I am a l/s gal I will pat myself on the back if I finish this one. Decisions decisions.

I am really trying to limit myself with BU's (reds and hot / bright pinks excluded).

OT:

By the way, last Saturday I bough the strobe liquid in golden elixir. Hopefully that concludes my haul. (She said for the third time...?)
