Don't think I'm crazy. I ordered 2 of them and a really great friend surprised me with the entire MM collection for my birthday including 3 LG's and 4 BP! Not even kidding. I have no idea what to do with 4 LG's. I was stunned shitless. Pardon my French

I've been keeping the lippie boxes lately so it's easier to see the lipstick names when I pull my drawer out....but the little section I was using for the lipsticks is now full so I have to do some rearranging or come up with something. I've also kept the boxes for all of my (few) blushes and everything I got in TR. I never expected to fall back in love with MAC lippies like this so I didn't anticipate needing the space (it's my OCC lip tars that I knew I had a problem with lol).

Maybe you could use those clear lip holders I see people use on YouTube. I've always said I was going to buy some...

I'm so Happy Nordies put the collection up. Now I feel like I don't have to lose sleep stocking, missing things again, & I don't have to drive anywhere Thursday or call any stores

It's funny how small my stash looks on my pics! Well, that's the organized part of my stash. There're also some drawers and things in various nooks and crannies...

I thought about it but my issue is limited counter space. I wanted a way to organize things a little better so I did it in a bottom drawer of my nightstand....I put some organizers I bought from Target in there so there are compartments. Mind you, that drawers in no way holds my whole collection! My eye shadows and most of my palettes are in a train case with some in a clear small clear storage bin...and I have several bins that hold other items like one for disposables, one for mascaras, one for the ridiculous amount of samples I have received from various places, etc. I'm always searching for the best way to organize lol.

lol according to my list I have 30 with at least 1 bu! Which will change on Thursday

Do you mind sharing how you make your list please? I don't know if I should use excel or word. I want to keep track of all my makeup.

I made a word doc for my whole mac collection. Under each category I list the bu lipsticks and stars next to them indicating how many bu's I have. Basically it looks like this.


Lip Pencil

1. Embrace Me-Vivid Pinkish Fuchsia(Tour de Fabulous)(Fashion Sets)*
   
2. Just Wonderful-Dirty Mauve(Tour de Fabulous)*
   
3. Silly-Bright pink(Fashion Sets)*
   
4. Magenta-Vivd Pinkish Purple
   
5. Freehand-Clean true red(Illustrated)
   
6. Heroine-Bright purple(Fashion Sets)
   
7. Vino-Intense-violet purple
   
8. Nightmoth-Blackened plum
   

Usually update the bottom of the list with the new collection shades and perm shades, then I move them into the bought section(black writing) as they get bought.

I root through my stuff so much because I'm always in a hurry, so it never stays organized.

The problem starts when it's not organized, because I tend to forget what I own if I don't see it. Then I use the same things day in and day out, and discover things again months after I put them away somewhere!

I wish I had all of my boxes like you, but I had to throw them away at my last move.
