If I had to choose I'd go with Subverted. Pre-raphaelite is lovely too but Subverted is more unique (assuming you don't have Kittenish)


I have Bare Minimum and Glimpse of Flesh. I'm very happy with both but they're nowhere near as striking as the metallics. That said, I still want Expos

people who already bought the eyeshadows - which of the nudes are must-haves? trying to decide whether to get all the metallics, or to get a couple of metallic and a couple of nudes....

I'm not sure I'd say that any of the nude shadows are must haves. If you like warmer neutral shades like soft brown or tete a tint, and want them in a satin finish, then I think you'll really like these shadows.

I didn't find Nearly Nude and Restrained to have a lot a peach to them. I'd describe Restrained as a mid-tone warm beige with a lot of brown to it. Nearly Nude is a neutral light beige on me. It definitely isn't as yellow as Growing Trend. I used both with Stone liner so maybe that's what neutralised any peach tones.

Here's Nearly Nude with Stone liner. Eyes were a bit of Daydreaming, and a lot of Love's Lure. Moleskin as transition shade. The bottom lashline was Deep Fixation.

I just did a live chat with a representative and she told me that the collection will now be released on the 18th and will be online and available to everyone. I was pretty surprised considering the previously mentioned release dates (the 11th & 13th) and the fact that this collection has seemed to be relatively pro-exclusive. Has anyone else heard this date for release?

- There is no concrete date but it will be available to everyone
- The date is the 11th and is NOT available to everyone

So....the usual MAC uncertainty seems to remain! I will stalk tonight just in case...and if it doesn't release then I'll check on the 13th. Never heard the 18th (I just know the 18th for RiRi collection) but if that is the case then that means both collections releasing on the same date....

Exactly! All of my answers came from calling MAC CS to boot so the confusion appears to be in-house also!

Pro collections typically release on Thursdays rather than Tuesdays.
