Since reading some of your posts, Narcissus does have me a bit curious. I wouldn't want skipper's remorse. It seems like a lot of you ladies are planning on waiting to see how the veining looks as well as the amount of sparkle in some of the mineralize products. Do you think most or all of the collection will still be available when it launches in store? I prefer to buy online. This collection has me a bit stymied. Adored and Narcissus seem to be the most coveted. What do you all think? Do you think they'll sell out in record time?

My list for this is still looking rather long.

I'm definitely going to jump on the Narcissus bandwagon. I've been on a gloss kick the last few days, namely Heroine and Colour Saturation, and anything close to those colours is going to be added to my collection for sure. Fever Isle looks pretty too. I discovered that Erine posted a useful comparison swatch of Heroine l/g and Narcissus on the FS thread if anyone wants to see that: http://www.specktra.net/t/182265/mac-fashion-sets-2013-collection-april-2013/3180#post_2363190

Lust will be mine for sure, Adored is looking likely too.
Blushes are still a skip. ES - I just don't know, but I can't imagine that I'll be able to skip them completely.

MM still looks good to me - I like the Mineralize lippies that I already have.

Thanks, Jennyap, for your input. Colour Saturation, I'm not familiar with that one. I'll have to look it up. Fever Isle looks pretty, too. Erine, thank you as well for posting the pics of the comparison between Narcissus and Heroine. That really does help!

I have a lot of MSFs that I thought I would use. I love the way they look in the pan, but I don't like how they appear (enlarge my pores) on my face. I do use the correct brush, but it still tends to happen. Once you reach that 50+ crowd, you start noticing a whole of things you need to change in your makeup routine. The use of powders of any kind need to be used sparingly, or it will bite you right in the butt! You find yourself looking in the mirror and thinking, "When did I turn into my mother (or father)?" Honestly, it hits you right in the face (so to speak). You also find yourself thinking, "Who is this old person staring back at me in the mirror?"

This, of course, happens after you have done numerous rounds of the put-your-glasses on and take-your-glasses off dance to view your handiwork.

Narcissus is SOOOO special IMO. I have all those same lipglasses you listed. I also have Maybelline Mirrored Plum (x3) and will STILL get Narcissus PLUS multiple BU's!! Something about the shade paired with the CSG formula is just LOVE in a bottle! Some might not think it's so great, but I sure do! Obviously. HeeHee
I have maybelline's mirrored plum and was guessing if I should get Narcissus, but you guys have convinced me to get it lol.

Narcissus looks darker on camera than IRL. I like your selections Jennyap. I'm trying to reign myself
in but It's hopeless---I should just stop trying!! Which MLs do you already have?

I didn't feel that at 50 and don't feel it now, at almost 60. I agree that you should use what works
for you individually, but I don't subscribe to rules, made up by God only knows who, that tell me what
I should wear at a given age. "Nobody puts baby in a corner," and nobody puts Medgal in a box.

Yes! Mirrored Plum is a great alternative, don't get me wrong. And I'm super glad I have it in my stash... But I will still haul the crap outta my FAVORITE CSG OF ALLLLL TIME.... Narcissus!

---photos & swatches just don't do it justice. When I purchased it the first time around I actually gasped when I saw it---it was that pretty and appealing to me!

From the pictures i am starting to think that exotic ember would make a nice eyeshadow duo instead of a blush, maybe similar to the orange side of the marche aux puces duo which i missed out on?
Just keep in mind that the MBs haven't been tested or approved for use on the eyes.
