I really want the 159, followed by Lust and Adored. Probably skipping the blushes and Rio, definately skipping the MES. If Fever Isle reminds me of Star Quality that puppy is coming home with me too. Not if it's like Astral (have that one, but seem to have misplaced it). I think I can skip narcissus since I rarely wear gloss. Colour Saturation gets no use. I like real colour on my lips, not just sheen and the colorful glosses really tend to bleed on me. Yes, with only one dip per application, no redips. I have also tried a clear liner, but it is just too much of a hassle to me. Plus, having long hair that I wear down most of the time, just one little breath of wind creates an unwanted pattern all over my face...

What I do now when I wear gloss is put my hair in a ponytail when I'm outside and wear them down again once I'm inside. It's still annoying, but better than trying to go outside with my hair down, because that's indeed a hot mess. I also have the bleeding problem with dark glosses and I don't redip either. Congrats on your 2000th post

Thanks Erine!:clapping: You confirmed what I was guessing that Rio is WOC friendly.  My list so far: Rio exotic ember narcissus 159 Brush Does anyone know of a NYX lip pencil dupe for Hip N Happy?
Woohoo!!!
So Erine do you think Rio will be too dark for NC 30? :(
It will have quite a bit of colour, so not sure how to use it other than as a shadow.

I am wanting the Cha Cha Cha.... but I am so new to makeup I am wondering if both colors will show up. I have never used eye shadow that had 2 colors in it.

The ability to pick out individual colors from MES is one of my favorite things about them! Every one is unique, but if you get one with thick swaths of green and blue you'll be able to use them separately. If you find that you prefer the mixed color you can look for one with lots of thin veins/stripes, which will mix together as you brush it over your skin.

Maneater did a great series of swatches of different items from last year's mineralize collection that show the individual colors as well as mixed together: http://www.specktra.net/t/179581/mac-heavenly-creature-discussion/3900#post_2242991

is the bleeding only with colored cream sheens or with all lipglosses. Cause mac cremesheens the latest ones especially tend to bleed on me also and I do not know whether it is a new formula or what.even when I use the slightest amount.

I have had that happen with the cremesheens, but not the other glosses. I do like how the cremesheens feel, but they mess up my lippy by: 1) bleeding, 2) making my LOTD (lip of the day) fall apart. Instead on making a cohesive layered lippy, it tends to destroy the entire lippy within a very short time. The only way I can imagine using the cremesheens, would be to use them only by themselves. Then plan on having it really handy, because I'm going to have to reapply it constantly throughout the day. It seems to disappear in the blink of an eye. :(

Hi Baby1black! I suggest trying the Too Faced - Borderline Smoothing, Anti-Feathering Lip Pencil. It's a clear waxy pencil that helps lipstick and gloss stay out of fine lines. You can just 'color' it around the outside of the lips but my favorite is to 'color' the whole lip in and go outside the lines a little bit. I love how it doesn't alter the color of my lipstick/gloss at all and it really prevents the bleeding (for me). I typically reach for this lip liner first.

Let me know if you try it and if it works for you!
