MAC Retro Matte collection (September 12, 2013)

Guys I lost my Runway Hit lipstick. Ugh. I looked all over for it today and I'm sick about it. I bought backups because I thought it was LE. But that does not make me any less sick about losing it. Only wore it once

Thanks. It's funny how I still have the oldest most non important lipsticks from a million years ago. And I get a brand new lipstick that I adore and what do I do? Lost it. Good job. Lol

I had to work hard to even get one BU of Runway Hit and would have been bummmmmmmed if I lost a tube. If it makes you feel any better, I couldn't find my Bite of an Apple blush for a year and a half - thought it was totally gone. Then I was cleaning underneath a big bookcase and there it was, all the way in the back on the floor by the wall. So you never know when it'll turn back up!

I'll admit, I get extra anal and protective of my most favorite lipsticks…I have a little zippered pouch I will keep my beloved lipstick in if I have to take it on the road, rather than just throwing it in my purse or in my usual makeup on-the-go case, where things have been known to slip out. They used to make these cute lipstick cases in all sorts of fancy materials that you'd snap a lipstick into - I never had one, but always kind of liked them. I wonder if someone still makes cute versions of those?

Haha the same thing happened to me with one of my LE Fluidlines. I thought it was gone forever and one day husband brought it in the house and said he found it under his car seat. He couldn't understand why I was so amazed and happy. Lol And good idea about the plastic bags for prized lipsticks and glosses. I should do that. I suspect that's how I lost Runway Hit from falling over out of my purse

I got a BU of Flat out Fabulous, too, and All Fired Up. Sometimes those batches differ in color with the perm line, so I wanted to make sure the next one I open will be the same color

I wasn't that impressed with these retro matte lipsticks. I really liked riri woo so i thought I would love these too. However, I feel like the formula is different. They don't last as long or glide on the same as riri woo does. I also noticed that they don't even say retro matte on the bottom like riri woo. They just say matte. I do love the colors though.

I actually agree. I like the formula either way but my fod glides right on its nothing like my riri woo or ruby woo but for me that isn't bad lol less work
