MAC Retro Matte collection (September 12, 2013)

Found my Runway Hit!!!!:nanas:

Hooray! Where was it? Earlier this year I lost two eyeshadows during a depotting frenzy and found them three months later under my dresser nowhere near where I was working with them. I still blame the cat for squirrelling them away from me.

I am embarrassed to say where I found it. I was so concentrated on searching my purse and makeup bag that I halfway check my vanity. I went back tonight and there it was sitting with all of my other lipsticks. LMAO!

Besides the difference in the formula, do you ladies think Runway Hit is similar to Wholesome?

No, for me Runway Hit is much more pink. I'll try to post side by side pics tomorrow

This color looks good on everyone who has posted a pic! Everyone looks so different - skin tone, etc. - and yet FOD seems to work on everyone!

I'll be checking my mailbox, because a certain Specktra Makeup Fairy has sent me one and it is supposed to be here today. That will make up for the RiRi waiting room fiasco. But at least i was relaxed about it all this time.

I don't doubt. My local MAC is like that too, when they run out of many perm products. I was in a few weeks after the Cremesheen + Pearl collection came out last year - which was (is?) perm. They were out of many and told me they wouldn't be getting them for at least 2 if not 3 months.

This is the way it goes at my local store too - after the initial supply, it's pretty common for it to take 2-3 months, even on wildly popular products. After a few rounds of ordering, the supply will often get steadier - this happened with Candy Yum Yum. From what my MAs tell me, though, CYY is so crazy popular, no matter how often they get it in, it sells out right away - it's become one of the most popular products in the whole store.

I suspect Steady Going, Runway Hit, and Fixed On Drama are LE because on the US MAC website it says "SOLD OUT" and usually if something is perm it says Out of Stock or Coming Soon.
Edit to Add: and Fashion Boost lip liner.

Because some of the other products in this collection say, "Out of Stock, Ships Soon".

Fixed on Drama is EVERYTHING! i love it a lot! All Fired Up had me looking like Homey the Clown so it's being passed on to someone else.

This is what I have suspected all along but MAC SA's in stores keep saying it's coming back and is perm. :shrugs"
