Here's my absolute favourite lipstick- Coco Rouge in Ruban Rose. There's no shade I like more.
Beige but not nude.

Wow, that's a lovely color! Also, you have really pretty eyes

I got Dragon, so here it is! It's not applied perfectly, because I'm not used to this formulation yet, so please ignore that. The colour is beautiful!

Red loves perfect porcelain complexion. It's more than swatch- it's evening natural look.
Stunning.
I'm looking for "my" red Chanel one.
I can't be as pale as You so need to be careful but hope soon find.
Shade you're wearing reminds me Showstopper Victoria's Secret - my only one red lipstick but seems creamier and for sure doesn't dehydrate lips.

I'm in major need of retail therapy today, and I happened to find an amazing swatch of Famous. I was looking at it on Izzy's Beauty, but shipping is $8 so I think I'll wait until I want a few more things

Hi guys so over the summer I got introduced to Chanel lipsticks (which I love) & I got the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine #82 Synopsis & I was wondering if anyone knew of a lip liner from Chanel or MAC that could go with it? :)

Hi! Have you tried Chanel Le Crayon Levres in Natural? Or even a clear liner like Urban Decay's Ozone? Maybe even Naked 2 since synopsis looks to have more of a brown undertone?

I got my birthday pressie form Sephora.
After checking out (online) Holiday collcetions I decided to buy something from permanent line (boring I know:)
I wanted something natural of course and left Sephora with Coco Rouge in Legende.
It's very subtle, buildable colour.
One of these you can't go wrong with.

I read something on Twitter about the RA Velvets having been reformulated. It sounded like the holiday ones were the new formula? Does anyone know if the older ones were also reformulated and exactly what the difference is?

I love the new formula for RA velvets. They are hydrating for a matte lipstick. I did a review about it here; http://charismafull.tv/2013/10/08/chanel-rouge-allure-velvet-la-desiree-327-and-illusion-dombre-in-fatal-837-reviews-photos-w-swatches/

Very nice review and the products look beautiful on you. Do you know how the new formula is different in terms of ingredients?

I'm a newbie to all things Chanel. I have purchased 2 lipsticks and I'm not sure about them.

I got Rouge Allure 124 Ambigue and the color shows up on me if I put on a couple of coats, but it seams to disappear quickly and is drying. The other one is Rouge Coco Shine 88 Esprit, I got it to go with Creme Blush 66 Fantastic. It wore better for me if I put it on thicker but turns dry very quickly.

I normally wear lipgloss, I have and love 71 Reflexion. The lipsticks that I am used to are Bobbi Brown, very nice, not drying at all.

Should I wear a lipliner with these to make them last??? I hope this is the key because they really are very pretty. I have never worn bright lipstick before and Esprit is beautiful. Rouge Allure Velvet 127 La Desiree was next on my list, but now I'm a little spooked.

Tips pretty please

The Rouge Coco Shines, like most sheer lipsticks, do not last for long unfortunately. You might want to try a Rouge Coco if you see a shade you like -- Magnolia is very pretty and a lot of us on here like it. Everyone's lips are different but for me the Rouge Cocos are the least drying of Chanel lipsticks, and the Rouge Allure Velvets are the most drying (and longest lasting).
