I personally love stereo rose, and the gorgeous coral color and gold veining is just stunning in person. In terms of the shimmer, it all depends on your taste. I find that it gives a bit of shimmer, but nothing too crazy glittery like some people have said in various blogs (and it is great for the winter months when your cheeks need an extra bit of oomf!). The formula may not be as sophisticated as some of Mac's other products nowadays, but there is still something really special about it (which is probably why it is loved and repromoted--I think this will be the fourth time?). Anyhoo, I gave one of my back ups to my mother in law last spring and she went crazy for it. She has put a SERIOUS dent in it and is loving it as much, if not more than me! I have been loving the magnetic nude collection lately, but when I started reading this thread, I pulled out my stereo rose and started using it again. It actually resembles the coral of autoerotique blush, with the addition of gold flecks and veining, and it really is quite beautiful. Just my two bits, but I think it is a gem, and worth having.
