MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (February 6, 2014)

I definitely need a color story. I totally skipped baking beauties. Everything looked like stuff I already have. The last spring collection I went crazy for was Quite Cute...bought everything. Guess I'm just not feeling the pastels too much now.

LOL - I went into my store yesterday and the store manager was asking ME if I'd heard any news about this collection.

I signed up for the event on the 7th, but no one has any idea about any details. Update won't start for at least another week.

Guess I'm alone in this. But I'm getting kinda sick of mattes. Don't get me wrong I love them! But I'm hoping for other finishes this year.

Have you snagged any of the Huggables? Total opposite of matte, but so smooth on the lips. I'm wearing Touché right now - it's the only pale nude I own that completely smooths over my lip texture and doesn't settle in the lip lines at all. Just ate and drank with it too and there's hardly been any transference.

Is it me or do the blushes already look frosty in the pan? (Did I post that before? I'm having a dejavu, lol) I would be excited if the were satiny, but I think if they're shimmery or frosty I'll pass.
The right one looks like it has a golden sheen.

Talk of the Town and Lavish Living look frosty like this in the pan, but go on amazing and smooth. You only see the sparkle in strong direct light if you haven't buffed it in much.

I'm trying to hold back, but I could probably really go for a more pink version of Talk of the Town, like that paler one on the left. I know the differences will be really subtle, but it's those tiny subtleties that make the difference for me, especially with pastel spring colors that don't always work with 100% ease on me. An At Dusk sort of color with a texture like Talk of the Town could be really beautiful. Ugh, I have so many blushes, lol.

And I'm into the way these two look from the promo pictures. Can't wait to see the actual blushes in pictures.

I called mac queens center. Just out of being silly since I know they're famous for being "special" answer: no, we don't have any event planned. We don't know when FOf is coming out. I literally barked on the phone and hung up. Like legit "woof". I don't know where that came from I think I'm lacking sleep.... Anyway yea, I'll prob ask pro today or any of the NYC ones where I know people. Or check w my girl at macys to let me know

You're not alone. I wouldn't mind some new finishes or at least updated old finishes like Amplified Creme, Frosts, etc. I like mattes and retro mattes, but sometimes they dry my lips too much after a few hours of wearing.

You're making me blush. I love Stevie Nicks and I loved her cameo in Coven also. I think Lily Rabe takes the cake with looking more like her though. I wish my hair moved like Stevie's. Mine kind of just stays put due to the texture.
