It's been a rainy and gloomy day... But nothing a black box with goodies can't brighten up. (Azalea in the afternoon, Snapdragon and heavenly hybrid )

I know the PT is a sensitive topic but my replacement arrived.

Here is a picture of both together. Fridays on top, today's on bottom

They swatch identical. My thoughts are that I'm disappointed because I really wanted a pink so I purchased dior rose diamond instead. Dior has never let me down or deceived me. I feel like MAC was a big let down and even though I like the new PT feel and color I have to remember it's not what I ordered. Would I have liked the old PT better? Probably not now that I think about how close it looks to my star wonder when swatched so then the question is am I happy it's different or am I annoyed. Honestly, I'm annoyed. I know some of you posted veining doesn't matter and you're right, but this has nothing to do with veining. This is an entirely different product from what I see in their picture. This is not pink in any way shape or form no matter how far I dig my brush into it. A part of me wants to keep it because it is pretty and the other part of me wants to smash it and mail it back (yeah I wouldn't but the thought made me giggle). As pretty as it is I was deceived by their picture on their website. I'm not talking about what I see on YouTube or the pictures that I see on here from past collections. To me that's worse. I didn't assume it would be the same, I didn't hope it would be the same, I purchased a product with a picture and description on the MAC website and that is not what they sent. Twice. So my final thoughts, I'm not happy at all and yes this will affect my purchasing for the future. I think if Chanel did this everyone would be more outraged because of cost. For me, I pay $30 for these msf's and I think if I got a pro discount it wouldn't have bothered me as much because it's the price of something that usually tells us to return it, keep it or throw in drawer. The way I see it is that it doesn't matter to me whether it was released before or not, if it looks like everyone else's or not, it's the fact that it does not look like the product they are selling on their website right now and that's not acceptable.

After fighting it out to get to work today... The only thing that will cheer me up is my first (of three) black box. I just wanna play in my blushes and fluid lines. An hour and a half to go and then I fight the snow to go home.

I agree. You have every right to be upset and disappointed. It's not the product you were led to believe it was. It's the principal of the thing. Companies shouldn't have an open door policy to deceive their customers. There may be others that don't mind. But I do.
Perhaps you could sell these 2 in the Clearance Bin to those that are looking for PT 2.0 instead of going through the trouble of returning them. And it's like you got a free one, so you could even get rid of them for a little below retail and make the money to pay you back for the Dior highlighter you bought in place of faulty PT 2.0! Just a thought!

My second black box arrives tomorrow. I think I will go to Macy's this weekend to look at the rest of the collection in person, but I'm still kind of hurting over the $1 price hike for the lippies. I KNOW........it's *just* $1.00. But still.......

Nectar sweet and dreaming dahlia somehow jumped in my order lol. I only planned to get snap dragon, heavenly hybrid, playful petal and chartreuse bouquet. Not too bad lolol. It's the snow storms fault... I'm stuck in the house :-/

Girrrrl I'm having the same temptation over here. The struggle is real!! I want my Lily White piggie soooo badly, but I know I'll have it in my hands faster if I just go to the store in 3 days, so I must resist!

I'm a bit confused, I made an order on Thursday night last week with the free over night shipping...but it isn't due to be delivered till Thursday of this week. Usually my packages with normal shipping don't even take this long, I usually make my orders on Thursdays or Fridays and get my items by Tuesday of the following week. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for it or I'd be yelling at somebody.
