Well I was expecting PG to be more violet or more pink like in the photos and instead it is more of a rich reddish purple. SD is alot like MR on me just a tinge lavender. I don't mind them and will wear them but I don't enjoy them if that makes sense. Well I should say they don't excite me. Yea they don't excite me.
I get it dear :( You should just send them back if your not enjoying them. Its weird that sometimes PG looks violet & in other pics looks burgundy.

Seems like MAC is getting a lot of returns with this collection. I guess that's what happens if we don't have enough swatches and reviews beforehand...

err, maybe but maybe people were not really satisified with the product line .. I think even if there were no swatches and the colours were lovely and spot on for their supplied descriptions, this would not be happening. Many moons ago -- before the instant gratification of the internet, these companies sold out of products just cause they were good.

on the other hand, a crazy priced TF lip sheer $ 49 is almost sold out.

sent my Azalea blush back. I loved the name too - I have Azalea bushes all around my house & I love them. The blush shade could have been SOOOO much prettier.

Perfect Topping chronicle continued: So this morning I was set on seeing what can be done. I took my 187 brush and swirled the hell out of my Perfect Topping and this is how it looks now. It swatches completely different now. Before it was like a straight beige, no shimmer either. Now it swatches as a very light peach with shimmer.  I hate that so much product had to be used to get it to work, I wish it worked right of the bat as one would expect it. I'm trying it out today. I wore it with NARS Mistinguette blush and Snapdragon on my lips. It's lovely but again, I hate how much I had to do to get it to work.
You look beautiful!! I see a bit more lavender in it now. But you're right, you shouldn't need to do all that digging around in it.

You used Mistinguette? that immediately gave it a lavender pop too.. but it's a lot of work for the $ paid.
