Okay, so the orange lipgloss. Do you think it'll work like the one in this tutorial to make coral lipsticks extra bangin'? Oh and PS, I NEED the eyeshadow she uses, the Magnolia Mint Julep, but it's not on their website anymore!!!!! What am I gna do?!?! My favorite thing in the WORLD is to find a tutorial and then buy everything the person used. But anyway, yeah, I was wondering if the MAC Playland orange gloss should work like this gloss to make your coral like coral+ or if I need the orange one she used. THX!!! And if you know where to get that powder lmk!!! you can still get Bedaub, but it's worthless without a powder on top (creases).
She looks stunning thanks for posting and that lip color is beautiful

Me too girl! Can't seem to choose what lippies I want from this. Seems like the low buy makes it worse haha. Plus, I am queen indecisive about EVERYTHING! lol. Picking restaurants and shopping seems to be the worst. I will stay in a store for so long. It's funny how people that work there constantly ask me if I'm still doing alright. Cause I will wander around the store forever lol

And MAC can be so scattered. You never know when things will go live. Sometimes its really hard to stalk. I work nights and we don't close till 2 am. And don't really get breaks to check all the time.
The low-buy definitely makes it more interesting! LOL Trying to limit my hauls is good for me though. Makes me MUCH more picky about what I buy because I can't just "buy all the things!" It really forces me to look at swatches and consider dupes in my collection. So it adds to the indecisiveness overall, but in the end, I seem to get more enjoyment out of what I've actually purchased because I'm not as overwhelmed. And if I miss out on something good, I don't freak out as much now... knowing another dupe is most likely right around the corner.

I think TA l/s is my only confirmed item... the other 2 spots are still on hold for my final selections!

Is there an actual rule about how much we can buy or is team low buy just for combatting our hoarder impulses? I'm new to stalking

I think this is the collection I'm going to have to go to the store for. MAC's swatches on their website are not really true to color for me usually, and so many of these colors I feel are so close to ones I already own. So yes, to the store. I might even....dare I say it....be on team low buy with this one

Team Low Buy is made up of those of us who for whatever reason have decided to buy less makeup this year. We all have different reasons and different rules.

-- Some of us set a number of items for a month or the year.
-- Some set an amount of money to spend per month or the year.

-- Some don't want to follow lemmings or buy into the hype, but just get things we actually like to use.
-- Some are just thinking twice before buying items that are too much like things we already have, or are colors that don't look good on us.

-- Some are getting rid of stuff in our makeup "collection" that we don't really like, that don't look or feel good.
-- Some are getting rid of "back up" purchases of things we'll never get to. If i have 50 lipsticks, do i really need 3 of the next new thing?

As exciting as a new collection may be, another one will be hot on its heels. If we buy one of EVERYTHING, we're likely to get things that we don't like - colors or finishes that don't work for us, wasting money and product. So it can be sensible to set some limits.

If we buy some BACK UPS, often we've spent money on things we'll never get to because we have so many other lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes, or whatever. Sure, sometimes we discover a HG item in a limited collection. But more often we end up with stuff we won't use up.

Some makeup people ran a test to figure out how many uses in typical blushes and lipsticks.

A typical blush use was 0.014g per application. A blush that weighs 0.15oz/4g has approximately 286 applications. On the average if someone uses the same blush every day, and applies it twice a day, ONE blush will last 143 days. So they'll only go through 2-1/2 blushes in a year. If i currently have 15 blushes, it will take me 6 years to use them all.

Similarly, an typical swipe of lipstick was 50mm. So the average number of swipes in a tube of lipstick was 293. If someone applied lipstick three times per day every day, a tube would last a little more than three months. That's 4 lipsticks a year. If i currently have 30 lipsticks, it will take me 7-1/2 years to use up what i already have.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone. I'm on Team Low Buy, but i'm still getting stuff i really want. But it can be helpful to think twice about how long it takes to go through what we have and only get stuff we really love.

I agree with @lilinah team low buy Is not really rules imposed but you set your own thresholds of what and how to analyze collections before you go all "buy all the things" crazy. Lol. I for once have stablished for myself a 2 item Max per collection. And only one big ticket item for month. But as I rotate through my stuff I skip more collections and just fill gaps on things I truly need instead of 3 lippys of the same shade in dif finishes I get a blush on a color I didn't have and suited my complexion better. It's not really full of rules or nothing but just supporting each other on picking better and not spending so much...

However sometimes I do find things either on blog sales or new collections that I really really like so I assess if I really will use it etc etc.
