MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

Just curious why you think these colors look horrible on your skin tone? I am NC 37-40, and love those types of colors. I have SG, and Snob and every time I wear them I get compliments. I will also be getting SE. I think these bright pinks look awesome on tanned skin too!

When I wear or try on pale pinks like these, I feel very washed out. Something is just off. I'm not certain what my actual color number is but I think it's NC35. If you like how you look, no reason not to rock it!

I definitely will! I am a makeup artist, so I am good at pairing things together so they look their best. Just curious, but I guess to each their own!

i wear a lot of brights, pastels, corpes nudes, MLBB, everything. If i like it i wear it. So either im really lucky i look good in all of them, i do have neutral undertone, or im blissfully ignorant of looking like a clown or washed out. I think a lot of it has to do with what you feel comfortable in. I jus love the rainbow, i cant choose one best color.

My list for this collection isn't as long as I thought it would be after swatches. I plan on getting the yellow pigment, SE, TA, PL lipsticks, and Carousel and BS lipglass. I think I may be one of the few that likes the look of PL lipstick!

I like it, too. I think it would be pretty over a red lip, with PL dabbed in the center for a golden sheen.

While I still think people may think someone doesn't look good in a certain color, I think the chance of that happening goes down a ton when the person wearing said color feels perfectly comfortable with it on. It shows when a person feels uncomfortable in something - and I feel like makeup is no different.

True that babe. I'm not comfortable in certain colors so I don't wear them but other gals can certainly rock them.
