MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I ordered Happy go lucky, sweet experiance, red balloon, pure silliness, live it up, carosel, hi jinks and young at heart. I paid for overnight, but i placed my order at about 1:30pm pacific time, so im not sure when it will come. i never have paid for overnight shipping.

I was super excited about this collection earlier this yr.. Now I'm like blah! Maybe if I see it in person I'll have a change of heart.. :-/

Amazing!

Yup! Amazing it is! When we met he thought Chapstick was lipstick! Now he knows all the different finishes. Just when I planned on skipping this collection he tells me he set aside $200 so I can go to the store on Thursday. I keep telling him he's not helping my addiction!

Where are you ? Cause I'm in BC and express would get it to me overnight . Where as standard takes 4 days

I'm in BC too! In the past, express shipping has always taken two days and standard has been taking way longer (like a week at least?). Weird!

I am thrilled that it will likely come tomorrow morning though!

Oh , nice! If I order really early in the morning it'll come next day but most of the time early here isn't early enough in Toronto so it doesn't even go out til the next day.

Depends where you live. If you are out of the delivery area they give your order to a third party (That's what I was told) to deliver. It might take longer than overnight Which if you ask me....is BS! Overnight is overnight!!!

I know right! I called once because at the time I had placed my order, I was not aware that there was free express shipping. The lady who I spoke with was very nice and changed it for me, but she did qualify that Express Shipping is NOT overnight shipping. Given where I live, she estimated 2 days.

Anyone have suggestions for someone of NW45??? I'm more neutral than anything but I prefer warm shades....If it's too "loud" I can tone it down with a dark lip liner. I'm considering Happy Go Lucky???

I got a shipping notification earlier on, about 8:00 am today!

I stuck with nordies, oh well! I am planning on picking up TA later, but for now red balloon will suffice! I look forward to seeing everyone's buys!

So today I decide to play another round of "how well do you know me" with my hubby. Of course this always involves making him guess which items I would buy from a particular makeup collection. So I show him the playland lippies and ask him to guess which 2 I want. Immediately he knew I wanted toying around but couldn't figure out the other. I point to playland and tell him how I had wanted a real yellow. So he says, and I quote " what's the finish? Oh, a frost? That's gonna give you a sheer finish, not much color payoff. Probably just glittery." Oh my young Jedi. I have taught him well!

I ordered at 730am PST and my money hasn't been processed yet so it will ship tomorrow morning I guess. Gonna have to live off everyone's swatches til I get mine next week lol

I just called MAC and they said even though I placed my order this morning before 11 am it wont ship until tmrw ;(

I got four lipsticks )) So I set my alarm for 4am PST (actually woke up at 345am because I couldn't sleep) so I kept clicking refresh and I eventually got them at approx. 430am PST. I paid the $5 for 2nd day air ( code "next" was expired) & then of course at 640am, an email from mac giving me a code for free overnight. Smh lol oh well I get them Thursday!
